These two well... I fell deeply in love with them.
And while I shouldn't have fallen in love with Yuwen Hu... Well, I'll defend myself saying that the drama didn't even try to make me hate him. He was too pitiful and loving and basically, the cutest thing ever (Oh no, c'mon Jessica!!) I don't even know how to live without him... (What?!) I've got addicted to Jeremy so I immediately started watching Legend Of The Phoenix... And I'm loving him in that drama too! His acting is always very detailed and has lots of emotion.
About Banruo... Oh boy she was my favorite character from the beginning. She acted tough, was really smart and full of charm. But it was really hard for me when she started manipulating him and being mean to him. That was when I found out I loved him more than her. So this video is less about her and more about his love for her.
TBH I don't know why these aren't the main characters of the drama. I know, both of them are a little bit evil (just "a little bit" Jessica?!) but why can't we have that? These are the characters that gave life to the story and the reason why I became so invested in the drama. It became very clear to me after Banruo's death... The drama lost most of its charm after it.

My favorite couple in this drama, they loved each other to the point of death but were too ambitious and loyal to their causes, in a way their individual ambitions are what defined their relationship but broke it at the same time

I thought they were the main couple cause they are more known actors & I only started cause I thought the drama was about them & then when I found out the other couple were the main characters I was a bit sad THEN LATER - omggg I was so happy that they other couple were the main couple (they r a PERFECT MATCH & they had CHEMISTRY✨).

I love the pair..their acting and chemistry is sooo good...sometimes tragic villain like Yuwen Hu is more memorable than the main lead

This is the most unique love story: at the same time it is beautiful and sick. I hate them and love them at the same time. It is terrible, brutal, but so gentle and hopeless also. I want some sort of off-spin, a dream. Them, a simple folk, living a simple live. No ambition and corruptness of the Court, just love.

I love their tandem and i only watched this drama because of them but so sad but so sad they just died without fulfilling their love story. I hate the ending. Hope to watch other happy ending drama of them..

hello i'm a new fan of Ady An YI xuan. I like their acting in scenes. they are very soulful. but when it comes to romantic scenes, the age gap is less visible. but they are good actors and actresses.

He can have happily ever after with her if he can abandon his ambitions. He choose power over her and even kill her and unborn child for it. He love power more than her.

I can agree with the part of the child, but he didn't know the poison would kill her too. I think they really loved each other, but at the same time they saw danger on the other and chose not to trust each other full heartedly. You can see he was pretty broken when she died and after he met Lihua. By the point he died, he didn't care anymore which is why he fell easily on Yong's trap. Also, he wanted to be the emperor not only for personal ambition but because he wanted to be with Bore, since she wanted to be an empress too. Unfortunately, things were very complicated between them, and each had to protect themselves.

@@cringecat3614 in the drama, they didn't show the atrocities yuwen Hu did as a taishi so I am wondering why can't they just let him be the emperor if he can make the country prosper. Instead they rather follow stubbornly to lineage and let dumb princes become emperor.

the guys was willing to sacrifice his ambition to become an emperor but sadly the girl refused him. the girl was fascinated by the idea of becoming an empress because of the hearsay.

The way I see it, she was the most ambitious of the two. The only thing she truly loved was power and was obsessed on becoming an empress and discarded their love like it was nothing. It was clear to me he loved her more than anything. Sadly, it was an unrequited love. I'm not saying he's a saint though. He did many many bad things but she wasn't any saint either.

Jeremy Tui acting in this was superb. I hated and loved him at the same time. It was their characters (Yuwen Hu and Banruo) that made this drama so good and me a huge fan of Jeremy.

My favourite cp from drama ''Legend of Dugu" YuWenHu & BarnRuong as supporting roles, they've overshadowed lead cp & complimented one's acting skill along with great looks.Another good drama soundtrack but I'll not recommend "Legend of Dugu" unless you don't care how uninteresting or non believable is the storylines & characters also poor acting skills

She broke her promise to Hu and loves the king. She being playing him all a long. She can’t love no one except the idea of becoming the empress. Not good ending for greedy people.

Seems like the supposedly second couple get the hearts of the audience. I am here because of Jeremy (Yuwen) but not sure if i want to watch this coz he ain't the main lead and it ald looks heartwrenching.

I watched the drama until she died the stopped there. I don’t like tragedies but their acting and chemistry is actually worth you watching those episodes. Absolutely amazing
