Poor Yuzu is having so much trouble regaining his composure. I understand Javi wanting to find the right moment, but for Yuzu it was a rollercoaster of emotions in what was already a very emotional ceremony. Even as he applauds Javi, he bursts into tears again.

I'm so sad for Yuzu and Javi. Javi's retiring and Yuzu is losing (maybe) one of his dearest friends. And you can see how much effort Yuzu is putting into not bursting into tears on the podium. I'm so sorry for those two.

I no this is a very late comment, i have read people saying javier spoiling yuzuru gold medal ceremony 😀. This is just the venue ceremony they got there medals on a diffrent day i have watched it, i don't think it would have mattered when javier told yuzuru he was going to retire he would be upset, he did not have any other choice. When javier went off ice he was taken straight for interview, he did what he thought was best for yuzuru and himself knowing he would not see him again. And it was so true because off the pandemic they were not allowed to see each other, no fantasy on ice for a few years

この時に、フェルナンデスが、羽生くんと昌磨くんに君たちと大会で競うのはこれで最後だ。みたいなこといって引退を報告するんですよね。それで羽生くん号泣。羽生くんはフェルナンデスともっと競いたかったって。やっぱり同じトロントで戦友として仲間として頑張ってきたから他のスケーターよりもより、寂しかったんだと思います。フェルナンデスなぜ表彰前に？って思う人もいるかもしれないけだ、このあとそれぞれインタビューなどで忙しいから報道陣や皆に伝える前になるとこの時しかないと思ったんでしょうね。。リアタイで見てたときは祝福コメントもらって羽生くん泣いてるのかと思ってましたけど、理由を知るとこちらまでなんかもらい泣きしてしまいますね。

OMG, just look at those cameras on him. I lost count. So many eyes and cameras tracking his every movement. He is a talented and most unique skater. I have only ever been interested to watch ice skater only for two lovely skaters; Johnny Weir and Yuzuru Hanyu. Love them both. Such beautiful skating and choreography.
