Namaskaram. I must confess I am one of those who has listened to quite a few of shri dushyant’s upanyasams ( apart from others) including watching his dance production agre pashyami in an attempt to find my way back into the folds of Sri Vaishnava sampradayam. Any “scientific” proof of our ithihasas and puranas is always fascinating and one is extremely tempted to go down the “rational “ path. However, even while studying atomic theory while growing up , I have always realised how scientific discoveries keep adding up( going from an atom is indivisible , does not contain anything to confirmation of various sub atomic particles now) or how the theory of light went from light travels in straight lines in middle school to light is a wave in high school. Modern western science including western medicine is very limited. Our sampradyam and puranas cannot be understood through that lens. Thank you for helping me resolve this long ongoing dilemma of mine. I have canceled my pre order of Sri dushyants ramayanam book. I have also shared these thoughts with my friends and others.

Dr. Selvapillai Tamil is super and nice to enjoy to hear. Melkote Tamil still has some rare Tamil words which the Tamil country lost.

Narasimhan sir I want to share this. It's ironical that indians immerse in western philosophy. But director of Max Planck institute confesses when he gives a lecture on Quantum mechanics, he feels he is talking about Vedanta. Westerners have started realising the greatness of our Vedic math and vedic science. Mendeleev father of periodic table learnt Sanskrit and used the words in his table. Eka, dwi, etc. I am sure and confident that our culture is rooted very deeply and even a micro mm cannot be shaken by these self proclaimed rationalists .

Only question that needs to be answered by Shri Dr. Shalvpile Iyengar Swamy is - how to take the 11000 years quoted sloka - as it is a itihaas, a contemporary narrative, so, should we consider that Ramayana was written on the end of 11000 years end ⁉️ as it's written contemporary evidence. If we consider it as a futuristic projection - why can't that be considered as an appreciation / simile / metaphor used in that sloka and why should 11000 years should be taken literally as human years?! And do we have any evidence and scientific research papers published on the Nala / Rama Sethu and the period when it could have been formed?! I wish to make it clear and agree with swamy upfront that those papers can be challenged and countered in future and the dates may go many thousands of years older as we get more evidences, so one paper now may be nullified by another in future. 🙏✌️ Still, what is the max, evidence we have currently, on the lines of confirmation that we currently have on the subject of Nala / Rama Sethu.

RN Swamin, while you are presenting discussions with a lot of these scholars, i don't see you presenting a scientific basis to any of your arguments. While Dushyant Sridhar has made an attempt with a date, a better way to counter would be through an alternate scientific basis. Homo sapiens only evolved about 200,000 to 300,000 years ago. We now have sophisticated arcaheo astronomy, gene mapping, climatology studies available. When Sri Rama lived is of less importance but more so on the essence of Srimad Ramayanam and how we can apply to our modern day lives. Our sanatana society is at a critical juncture so let us focus on preserving our cultural unity.

I have not heard this dusyant sridar upanyasam.i have heard him in some tv channels.Even though this guy speaks about scriptures i have always seen him only as a guy...he acts like a guy... please see for ur selves his dressing sense,attimes giving very silly unlikely,not so appropriate parallels and examples, often giving sweeping statements,strange form of arrogance due to wrongly conforming with scholarly arrogance even though he is certainly not a scholar.This fellow has become attracted to external audience with showmanship.Dont blindly follow someone like dushyant sridhar.

In one of the earlier interviews in this channel..i think Sri Balaji clearly pointed out the totally unlikely personality of The Great Vedanta Desikar being depicted completely wrongly in the film or whatever this showman dushyant sridar took and perhaps acted.This guy is dangerous in the sense of misleading the public by his utterances and writings.Beware

Mr Rangarajan Narasimhan it is obvious you are extremely JEALOUS of Dushyanth and Jayshree. You are not able to digest the fame and attention these two are getting. You have tried your best to be in the limelight, but you are hardly getting any attention. No modern human being will accept that Rama lived crores of years back and he ruled for 11000 years.
