clara's theme is undeniably beautiful. even if you didn't like clara as a character you can't argue that her theme isn't one of the most wonderful pieces you have ever heard.

You've got all this emotion and then Donna's just over here being fabulous.

Rose's opening chord still sends nostalgia shivers down my spine.

River's theme is the ultimate, "Oh shit, what a cliff-hanger", theme.

Amy is my favourite companion but I think Clara’s theme is my favourite, it’s just so beautiful

Am I the only one who doesn't "hate" any companions? There are companions I like more than others, and there are aspects of each companion that I dislike (except for Donna, she's great) but I don't entirely dislike any companion

What I hear: Rose's Theme: A theme for those sad and emotional moments. Slow and lets you relish in the moment. Martha's Theme: A hint of mystery and intrigue that comes with a Doctor Who story but also comfort. As if she's about to bump into you and you both smile happy to see a familiar face. Donna's Theme: Along the same lines of that with Martha in terms of adding to the "intrigue" atmosphere, but more erratic and less serious. I imagine the characters sneaking around in a cartoonish fashion on their tiptoes. Amy's Theme: I hear a progression from her very first episode looking up at the stars so small to a grand rise to the woman she would become. River's Theme: I feel the return of mystery to theme but instead of comfort or comedy, I feel a looming shroud of despair. An overwhelming sense of inevitable doom where there is no happy outcome. Clara's Theme: A fresh start full of hope and joy. I am actually reminded of Super Mario Galaxy's music which reminds me of a journey throughout the stars which seems appropriate to mention. Bill's Theme: Unfortunately, I don't really get much out of this theme besides a continuation of the sound of Clara. Perhaps a bit more clunky that evens out in the end.

This is beautiful... I genuinely believe that Doctor Who has the best score of any TV show I've ever seen! I love it when a TV show has a great score, because I feel like it's so often overlooked in favour of other elements, but Doctor Who never fails to produce amazing music! I love all the themes, but I think Clara's is my favourite...

I love how all of the rest are really nice... and the there's Donna.

I forgot to say this when I watched it but the way all the songs are combined is brilliant !

Amy’s and Rivers are so similar, Clara’s is beautiful too! They are in my opinion the saddest and have the most depth but that could be due to their longevity in the show :)

Amy's theme is underrated - love it as much as the track 'little Amy'. Can't rank the themes tbh. They're all brilliant. But the nostalgia from River and Amy's... beautiful. My favourite era. I love the way River's song builds. Also, Donna's theme is a bop.

I'm wondering if you've had a chance to listen to The Life of Sunday (Ruby's Theme) yet? It was performed by the BBC National Orchestra and recently released on the BBC sounds website. And wow, is it great to have Murray Gold back! It's such a beautiful, haunting, piano-focused theme, and I was wondering if you had any plans on making a tutorial for it? I love your tutorials and find myself coming back to them from time to time over the years, so having the new one to add to the collection would be really cool! If you don't have the time for it, or rather wait until it airs on TV, I totally understand of course - just thought I'd check, in case you weren't aware of it being released online. And really, check the concert out regardless, since I'm sure you're going to love it! It's always fun to hear these iconic pieces played live, and they also played the new 2023 version of the main theme, as well as the 15th Doctor's new theme :)

I don't know if you'll be able to find it, and it's a really short piece, but could you try the unreleased music from the end of 'Survival'? The part at the very end when the Doctor and Ace walk off into the distance has some of the best unreleased music I've heard!
