This lure has become my favorite sight casting lure for skinny water redfish. Rod tip up and medium to fast short vertical rod tip movements while steadily reeling.

I have some in my cart at Salt Strong waiting to add some more stuff but let’s be real here, it’s just a fat paddle tail. I’d be interested to see if there was any appreciable difference between a slam shady 2.0 and this. All that said it has my attention (a lot of lures are to catch fishermen more than fish 😉) and I’m going to give them a go.

Bought two packages. Zman recommended a 4/0 ewg hook. Out of a few colors though.
