Is this option also good for occasional track use or does the original oilcooler cool the oil better under higher load for a longer time?

So what is the concern? High oil temp would gain my attention, but what is wrong with 100 degree oil temp? Broken oil pump? Not flowing? Since the engine uses 5W30, the viscosity would stay in range and the pump should be fine. If there is no valve train noise, you have to assume that the oil is making it all the way up. The reason most people's engines rise quickly to match water temp is because there engine immediately allows the water to control the oil temp. The aluminum block, the oil circulation, and that extra capacity over iron V8s, combined with the awesome cooling system make the condition desirable. As long as I have oil pressure and no clatter, I'm happy when the oil temp is below 200. Good video and nice Vette.
