Z1 Coolant Bleeder Port 350Z Install Guide

Жыл бұрынThis machined aluminum coolant bleeder fits into the Heater Hose or any 3/4" ID hose in the coolant system. This design allows installation into a straight section of your heater hose for a perfect fit. Simply cut and trim the hose or replace your factory bleeder port (350Z / G35) or union (370Z / G37) and install this bleeder in-line.
Key Features:
A slotted bleeder plug allows air to escape without the need to fully remove the bleeder plug. This helps accurately bleed the cooling system while greatly reducing the amount of wasted coolant.
Standard O-Ring Seal: No messy thread sealant needed! The Z1 coolant bleeder uses a standard o-ring so repeated bleedings are a breeze!

Ordered one from Z1 immediately after seeing this video. Trying to upgrade anything plastic in the engine bay that I can that might potentially fail over time.

Had mine on for over a year and love the fact it's a non brittle material. Hard to fit the old hose clamps back over it, but no doubt it ain't coming off!

Connector leaking on hoses by pass side firewall. Do i need to drain to change part? Thx

Maybe not drain the entire system but you will need to re-bleed it.

Yes because you’re introducing air into the coolant system which needs to be bled out. They should’ve included that part at the end of the video
