The best part about Hairspray as compared to most other musicals is that the people are ACTUALLY singing and dancing in most of the songs. Like, in most musicals the characters are not actually singing, that's just part of the musical, but when you see the guys come up to dance with Tracy, that's actually happening in the show and i love it because it's such a powerful moment.

This movie is as near perfect as it can get. A cast of amazingly talented actors, dancers, and singers along with all the people behind the scenes made this version of "Hairspray" darn near impossible to top. I ushered in 2021 watching this movie. 🙂
