What's impressive is he actually has very little basketball experience. He improved his footwork so much. That shows his hard work. Footwork is usually very difficult to learn as you get older

The problem with that is Edey is a clone of Zubac he can be guarded one on one his post game is not that nice at all so you don't have to double team him just stay home and dare him to beat you

@Getdown8319 he 7-4 290lbs he played against like 4 7footers all season he has a soft touch on his shot but he has no range can't shoot outside of like 10 feet he slow not that athletic and his post game is extra mid. He'll be Zubac Andrew Bogut. He could average 12/10 15/11 something like that nothing special

@@vibes24osrsI definitely think he could be good in the nba. Ofc there’s a lot of players who have to reinvent their game style, but there’s also some who don’t but still end up succeeding. For example, Daniel Gafford, Trayce Jackson Davis, and Clint Capela. These players all live in the paint getting boards, putting up dunks, and blocking shots. I think Edey will be good if he goes to the right team

Edey is the first player since Shaq in the draft 7' 1" or taller with at least 750 points in college season. The only other players to do that are David Robinson, Kareem, and Wilt. The NBA ain't ready for Zach Edey.

even like 10 years ago Edey would be the definitive #1 pick, but the way the game has changed now he’s gotta be a first round pick for sure but where he goes is anybody’s guess. could see the heat maybe scooping him up late first if he’s there, they do need rebounding and edey does a lot of that.
