We finna be laying fools out this coming season. Edey got heart. He has that edge that memphis loves to see in it's players. I feel like he is one of those players that brings his lunch pale because he finna go to work. I love the pick and I feel very positively about our future!

Being that Edey actually dropped playing for Canada in order to focus on the Grizzlies and bond with Morant, Jaren, Bane, etc. That's saying something. People also have to remember that he knows the concerns and kind of cleaned it up in his first game in the summer league. Team practice is on the way. They're gonna figure it out and for the rest of the league, that's bad.

NCAA player of the year 2 years in a row and dropped to the 9th pick. I would have grabbed him at 5 if I was the pistons. Memphis wasn't gonna let him get past them at 9 so good for them.

They did not "make waves" by picking him, and Ja will not be better than ever. Shoulder injuries NEVER fully heal no matter the sport, and players rarely get back to pre-injury form
