He looked like he got thin, he's moving equally as good as Walker Kessler and he's a much better offensive player. This guy will be worth it. Its all about a team using him to his fullest, which might be the Memphis and their balanced defense/shooting/speed that they have with JJJ/Bane/Ja

He might just be a 7'4" Zubac. His post up game is deadly. He was able to constantly take advantage on one on one situations with Walker Kessler. Walker Kessler is arguably the best rim protector in the league, minimum top 3 for sure. He's NBA ready and the teams that passed up on him that needed a Center MESSED UP BAD.

FR his feet are quite quick, for Memphis this makes a lot of sense. When Adams was on the floor the entire team played better. JJ had a breakout season and Ja was taking it to another level until he had an injury. Edey was fortunate to escape the Lakers' clutches, avoiding the toxic environment that seems to hinder the growth of talented rookies. Several promising young player who has played for the Lakers has ultimately flourished elsewhere. The likes of Josh Hart, Randle, Ingram, Kuzma, D'Angelo Russell, Zubac, and even Clarkson all saw significant improvement after leaving the Lakers. It's almost as if fate has spared Edey from the Lakers' curse, allowing him to reach his full potential without being stifled by their apparent inability to nurture young talent. Fortunately, we'll get to watch Edey grow alongside Ja Morant, a superstar guard, and Jackson Jr. and from what we all saw Edey will likely surpass Wemby in defensive potential within 3 years.
