@Eliezer Espinosa Zack Snyder is a genius filmmaker to be able to come up and deliver WB's demand for their DCEU to ASAP catch up with MCU...He was on track to pull it off until some snake among WB executives pulled the plug off before he could have potentially undermine MCU's onslaught.

I don't know who introduced Zack and Hans Zimmer together (I'm assuming Nolan did since he has connection with Zimmer) or if Zack called up HZ, but thank god HZ was attached to the project. Regardless of what you think of MoS or BvS, Zimmer and Junkie did a phenomenal job in creating the scores imo. The scores were a HUGE part of these movies, and HZ and Junkie definitely served that purpose.

Literally not a single memorable note from Elfman's score. The Man of Steel score is not only Hans' best work imo, but one of the best scores in the past decade. I didn't even think about the OG score while watching that. That's how good it is.

Zack Snyder is the most stylized filmmaker in business. None of his effects feel overdone even when everyframe is CGI Heavy! He's just so perfect for DC. I hope DC never tries to be MCU. Watchmen is one great example of comic book styled filmmaking. His CGI drives the story forward. Just amazing. I hope he gets the respect that is due. I don't have high hopes for Snyder cut. Why is there no Martian! JL is incomplete without him. Plus they should have made standalone movies for each character before making The Justice league would have been great! Imagine each superhero has a origin movie and all of them release two months apart. And then comes justice league.

No generic orchestra sounds for fast scenes, no light silly string plucks during a comedic scene, like a string pluck when a character tiptoes; MoS and BvS has thoughtful and diverse score.

Filmaniac Well, he made a crap ton of them. It probably enclosed his creativity a little. He made soundtrack for The Dark Knight Trilogy, Man of Steel, The Amazing Spiderman and the new Wonder Woman theme. They're all great, but Hans was one of the few composers who found himself having to do a whole new score for a character he had already scored: Batman. Which is why Junkie XL was so involved in Batman V Superman and why it was him to create the new theme. By watching this video, I assume Hans is very creative and doesn't like to feel restrained for his work (hence trying out very uncommon ways to compose and always changing completely the already estabilished themes for each character). Which kind of goes against Danny Elfman for example who reuses concepts in each music. Hans is not like Blake Neely or Christopher Drake who are constantly creating new superhero themes
