The movie is good, not bad, and I was sad about the death of the character Dieter, because it is a character I was attached to in the movie. Is there anyone behind that zombie robot in the casino? Is there anyone behind it and three girls in the future? Or not, there are many secrets in the movie. And the reaction was wonderful.

It was a nice popcorn movie that relies too much on setting up the prequels/sequels. Just watch it for what it is and do not think too much. The movie falls apart when you apply logic to it, so don't do that.

Blood is NOT blue when deoxygenated, just a darker red. The blue is meant to be an Easter egg for the zombie origins which will get explored in the future

@KAI PHAN Yeah the theory is that it was testing for the military to control an army of the dead, literally. Thats why they wanted the head of the Queen Zombie. It seems that the leader has control over the Thrall/Dregs like a hive-mind type of situation. And with War, when you kill an enemy they become a zombie on your side. A lot similar to Whitewalkers. I've heard that comparison a lot about this movie.

Things few people missed 1: UFO in the beginning near Area 51. Confirming the alpha was bioengineered with extraterrestrial DNA ,which also explains why he has some emotions and didn’t rott like normal zombies 2: time loop element p. The bodies near vault were of their own, 3: justice league Snyder cut reels inside the vault 4: Robot Zombies

Yeah, my one complaint about this movie is that the characters do a lot of "watching and wasting time". Like, way more than even the normal for movies. The 2 scenes where that happens the most blatantly are: 1) The scene where the woman gets screwed over by that guy and gets swarmed by zombies and jumps through a window. There is plenty of time for them to help her, those aren't even the fast zombies, but the character who is her friend just stands there looking, doesn't even take a shot at the zombies. I mean, fuck, she wasn't even that far. 2) The worst of all, the helicopter scene. Dave Bautista's character spends like 20 seconds just talking to the pilot and exchanging looks of happiness with his daughter instead of immediately getting the fuck into the chopper. They literally stop for a conversation like there isn't some super zombie after them. I timed it. The time they spent 100% DOING NOTHING they could have gotten away before the zombie got there.

@@therandomhorse66 She was still fighting and with plenty of room for a good 20 seconds while the other guy just stood there and gawked, before she ultimately got swarmed and bit. 25:03 to 25:22. And that is with the cuts from the reaction, the scene was even longer. She stayed all that time in front of them until she was finally bit. There was plenty of time to help her, like I said, those weren't even the fast zombies. This movie has a serious problem of "standing and staring".

When Dieter says “I shot her 3 times.” and then Vanderohe says “Actually it was 4.” can be interpreted as this is the fourth time he has killed the bride. Bear in mind very shortly after that we get the super out of character meta comment from him about it all being an infinite loop. Not to mention when the vault opens up, you can see 3 of Guzman’s AKs lined up against the right wall. Very interesting stuff!

@@g2.a6 Chambers and Dieter both remark or suggest they've never ever killed a zombie before, but Dieter is a perfect shot and Chambers became an instant badass in the room with all those hibernating shamblers, silently killing them like in a Hitman game. Plus, Vanderohe mentions Alphas by that term before even Coyote does, and she was the one warning about them. No one else has any idea about them aside from those two, and Coyote has firsthand experience, so how does Vander know about em if that's his first time reuniting with the crew and meeting her? Edit: And doesn't Vander pull the C4 out before Dieter even mentions the card reader being busted?

@@adityawankhede7260 Because it is the plot of Aliens? Rich corporate guy with government backers sends a mercenary team into an infested area under false pretenses. Corporate lackey plans to capture the creature in order to used them as an army. Chambers is basically Vasquez. Corporate guy running off and trapping the good guys by shutting the door behind him, lackey immediately getting killed by creature, a character blowing themselves up while being swarmed to try and buy time for their friends, Bishop/Tig not being there with the chopper/shuttle when the main characters arrive only for them to show up a few moments later as the villain appears, nuking the infected area in the end. I mean, damn, this film rips a lot from Aliens.

The time loop theory joke of Army Of The Dead is actually real. All the corpses that appear in that scene are themselves. They are fighting and dying. This is the 4th loop.

The corpses here belong to the 3rd loop. What we watch in the movie symbolizes the 4th loop. The Netflix Twitter page rteweeted something about this. As a German, I can attest to Snyder's magic touch in making Schweighöfer palatable since I held him in utter contempt in all of his German roles where he tried to be the romantic/comedic leading man. Goes to show what a competent director can get out of his performers (but that's not a new discovery obviously; Gadot works out fine in everything but WW1984, too).

I think that the blue when the Alphas die was due to the military experiment that created him. Hated how they lost the best fighter early on. Guessing she was the best one with how many it took to take her down. Her friend freezing in fear was irritating. Coyote trusting that guy to just get blood and him screwing up their temporary agreement with the Alphas. Once he did that I knew things were going south, but we wouldn't have the amazing action scenes without it. Interesting how they left it up to interpretation whether or not the guy in the end kills himself to prevent becoming an Alpha another outbreak happening.

Causing the team to be thrown off, and that poor woman who loved Dave’s character to be killed and Dave’s character himself, AND EVERYONE basically. Her one decision had a rippling affect.

The blue color was to show the infection. You could see some zombies had a blue glow to their eyes and when one of them is shown to be killed they're actually a robot. But it was hinted the infection came from space, and the blue disappearing from the baby showed it died and wasn't being kept alive by the infection anymore

30:50 - The elevator/Omni-Man neck twist surely surprised us all. Then Scott unleashed his rage. --- EDIT - I give the film a 8-8.5/10. It certainly leaves you wanting more, lots of theories from time-loop, alien, robot zombies, etc and in a way it's a great Suicide Squad film. Didn't want all the characters to die especially Coyote 😭 and even Guzman surprisingly! Can't wait for more AotD content! Netflix should greenlight the trilogy and let Zack do his thing.

I personally gave it a 6-6.5/10 It’s fun and has some good casting, but aside from that, nothing stood out much. It’s just an ok movie. Definitely better than other Snyder movies.

The actors are cool, the world is cool, the story was ridiculous. Literally if Martin had just stated his mission to get the head, the vault could have been the pay off, let the team complete then get the head, then fly off. The only wrinkle would have been the daughter if the mom storyline was left.

Hey did you spot ufo's at start. Origin of zombies is area 51. And cyborg zombies And whole movie was mix of different timelines And vanderohe never got bit, deiter calls vault gateway to other realm and throws van in to save him, later he finds he is bit? This isn't what it seems lmao. Those skeletons were them actually, van looks like zeus when he lifts him? It begins with alpha ends with omega. Can't wait for everything answered, waiting for sequels and prequels. Van is sure super sus. He knew about timeloop stuff and didn't get changed fast? Knew about change of time of bomb dropping without going up? Damn And yeah blue blood because genetically alein manipulated

I know everyone has their own opinions and people can like love or hate whatever they want to. But the only praise for this movie is coming from such react channels on yt, (slightly shady stuff, maybe a weird coincidence) . Most of the other platforms, imdb, facebook etc, people are pretty much not liking movie. That includes me. I loved the first 8 mins of the movie, after that it was meh.

When me and my mom went to see this movie in theaters and there was no one there and we were so lucky because we didn't pay for a private watch we paid for a regular one and no one showed up and it was just me and my mom and when I saw the Tiger scene I yelled fatality

There are a lot of themes Zack put into play. • obviously the aliens. the baby had a blue ish glow and some of the zombies shot had blue blood while some were robots ~ the UFO flew off at the very beggining ~ the officers literally said they came from area 51 • you could say the government is spying on the zombies to further understand and reuse them for another purpose (like forming an army) ~ goes back to some zombies being robots • and the obvious time loop that could be at play ~ in the vault when they mention and bring up the time loop idea sarcastically, you see the skeletons on the floor that are wearing the exact same clothes as the bank heist members • last one ofc is Omari Hardwick becoming the new Zeus • I look forward to seeing this universe being expanded upon with the sequel, prequel, and animated show

Not bad. Writing needed some tightening up though. For instance, It was Tanaka's casino right? Why didn't he provide the override to the booby traps near the safe? For that matter, why didn't he provide the combination to the safe? Why was a safecracker needed at all??

there's a lot of strange things going on in this movie such as the time loop. they find their own bodies in the vault. also aliens, the ufo seen close to the start of the movie and cyborg zombies that you can spot within the regular zombies. Snyder has confirmed these.
