I try to make the seams as thin as possible! But yes, if you can see on the sides of his muzzle in the finished shots you can see the muzzle darts. I had hoped they weren't too obvious, but they stand out to me a lot.

I was curious about the velcro eyelids--how well does the felt do over time? Sometimes I've had velcro pull up parts of felt and make it wispy, but I'm not sure if that's just the materials I'm using or if it doesn't matter in the long run. (Thanks for the videos, I really love seeing how you work!!)

I actually talked about that with a maker friend of mine whos been using them for longer, Tezzy Arts and they said it's not really an issue! And if it does you just rub the felt to re tangle the fibers. that's all felt is anyway. wool fibers all tangled up in a mass. But it kind of sounds like you've been using the softer thinner felt for the eyelashes rather than the stiff thicker felt.

Id love to see a more in depth tutorial on how you made the hair! I get that you glued the pieces together, but I'm confused on how you sewed them to the head. Did you have to do that to all of them? Or did you see the pieces on the inside where everything connected, then attached them to the head?

I did sew the pieces together at the bases where they were connected! sorry I got really busy and couldn't remember to film while I was sewing the rest of it! I ladder stitched it onto the head at the end.

you should totally shave the ears, it'll make for a neater appearance! usually people shave the ears with a size 5 blade, and the face is a 7 or a 10. so the ears are slightly longer than the face, but still short.

that's Gray shag from big z fabrics! a tad darker than their Oyster.

Late question! What type of foam did you use for the eyelids? Where do you get it from?

I just used craft foam, you can find it in the kid section or next to the sheets of felt! super easy to get a hold of! i think its 3mm thick.
