Freminet is the foreshadowing of physical units being pushed in the Fontaine patch. An off field 5 star physical DPS is closer than what people think.

Hoyo really seemed to have shot themselves in the foot by releasing really busted 4 stars early on i.e Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Sucrose and Fischl; and now have to go in reverse by making new 4 stars shitty to not power creep. Then again power creep doesn't even matter when Spiral Abyss is the hardest game mode in this game.

The most disappointing aspect about him is the leaked banner that he's going to apparently feature. Paired w XINYAN AND NOELLE. If it wasn't for that, I could try going after him regardless of his numbers

Very excited for Freminet, it's a shame he isn't a 5* because frankly I'd have pulled him in a heartbeat, but I'll try to push through his 4* scalings and hopefully have a good time with him. Heizou is very similar, extremely fun and if you put the effort into heavily investing in him with amazing artifacts and 5* Weapon, he can still stand as a very great DPS, and I'm hopeful that Freminet can be pushed to some great heights as well. With how many different Team Options Freminet can have thanks to the ingenious design of his kit, I'm extremely curious to tinker around and see what pushes him into the best he can be. It's just a shame they didn't make him a 5*, that kit is amazing and a 5* upscaled version of it would have been amazing, it's criminal that we won't be getting that.

I get the feeling that Freminet suffers from Dori syndrome, where he might be given out for free in 4.2 or something. And because he's being given out for free, they might be testing out new mechanics on him since a lot of players will be using him for the exploration passive.

Man I actually have a lot of respect for you. In a time where most of the content creators are just ignoring genshin, you're still here with us, giving us content. I am specifically upset today, cause just found out that I missed a web event. Previously when there was a web event some creators like taka gg would instantly make a video about it,I used to rely on that info,but now it's like everyones sleeping on genshin,even iwintolose isn't making any content,he is one my favourite genshin content creators. Speaking of off-field physical dmg dealers, it would have been a neat idea if he used his ticky, mech penguin as a summon that ticks around and does small aoe physical damage (Sort of like a physical guoba but maybe with the penguin wings instead).

Zajef, have you seen Freminet's interaction with C2 Chongyun? Because of the CD decrease his skill has basically no cooldown, thoughts?

As of right now he seems like a personality pull but I can really see new physical supports throughout Fontaine coming out that will bring a breathe of life to physical at least a little.

His kit makes my eyes SHINE because it looks so damn cool having a character so versatile and that could make less used reactions have a more solid niche usage And then hoyo makes sure you aren't able to play the new 4 stars and we go back to all the just use xiangling bullshit I'll likely build him if I manage to snag some copies from the Tortellini banner, my Yanfei was lvl 90 9/9/9 talents before my xiangling was even ascended past 60 anyways. It's not like spiral abyss is even worth the headache LMAO

It feels like the only good characters will always be either Archons and safe characters, Lyney is a very safe character, very rare that he' ll have a random power spike like Xiangling or Fischl, Freminet is actually unique, so they make him shit so he doesn't have a chance to become good EVER Kinda "lazy" of Hoyoverse that never takes an actual risk bur it' s whatever

Shatter is like crystallize is not used much at least not on purpose since he will be a shatter driver his damage doesn't seem to be that low because he will have two sources of damage his combo and shatter that both scale with physical damage Fischl, Lisa, Kuki, Raiden, Xingqiu, Yelan, Mika, Rosaria he will have great team options

freminet is definitely a cryo unit with physical elements to his kit, with cons that increase his own dmg but not shatter itself, and is apparently a hyperbloom driver

Wait,isn't Skyrider Greatsword a good option for him aswel? That thing gives about 40% phys dmg bonus and at R5 it gives 40% atk so long as you upkeep the NAs and CAs. Regardless i do want him in my collection but sadly i don't think imma pull for him,pulling for 4* is stupid and i already have Big Dong Zhong and i hate Childe with an absolute burning passion like no other. We'll see i guess

i do disagree with the 2pc 2pc options mentioned in 16:12 The 4pc PF just offers additional 18 percent attack compared to 2pc 2pc which is conditional after doing 2 skills

I doubt Hoyo primarily made the alignment to sell units for abyss. Most players don’t even interact with abyss lol. It’s just a new flavour mechanic for the expansion’s exploration

I really like how his attacks look and I’m curious to see his teams. What I’m thinking is pairing him with raiden/kuki, xingqiu/yelan and then a flex slot. This is interesting to me because to make a shatter team that also has superconduct you would also have good aoe with electro charged.
