He doesn't drink any longer. Beer is definitely a fatty source. I stopped drinking beer all the time over 2 years ago and I am still trying to lose the body fat it created and i go to the gym 5-6 days a week.

@@jsant8998 Thanks. I'll tell you, when I was young like around my mid 20's I thought I would never get fat and I struggled to put on weight. Now that I am 54 it is a much different story. Ha ha ha..

One thing about Zakk, he isnt a show boater or fake. He is a genuine goof ball. He is never serious. When he is, it is seriousness in a frank and straight way. No bs no games, straight in your face truth. He doesnt give a shit if you like him or disagree. He is who he is. The thing I am completely blown away by is the range of musical talent he has. From Lost Prayer, to Suicide Messiah. I think he is one of the most under rated musicians around. His talent is a gift to anyone who listens.

I love zakk more than any guitar player but I'd love to hear a serious interview one day. I've heard him be asked a lot of good questions I'd love to hear the answer to but it just turns into a comedic pun

I honestly wish Zakk would give a serious interview. I love him and there are some parts where his amazingly funny. However, I just want to hear him be honest and naturally funny. Not a comic interview.

Same here. It would be nice to hear some of the stories with a little more seriousness. I love Zakk, but I think the alcohol has affected him in some ways.

Yeah. The gimmick/schtick is getting fossil-fuel old at this point. There was absolutely no.insight here re: the Sonic Brew 20th anniversary reissue, or anything else of relevance. Not Jenny,'s fault, really. Zakk does this in literally EVERY interview.

I looks like Zakk is more authentic know than before. I remember him as always "acting" to be that bad motorcycle dude, always serious, angry face and big arms always holding a bottle of beer.

Samuel Martin IMO, I don’t agree. I don’t think he’s ever been serious. I personally believe he’s just a just a fun-loving guy from Jersey that likes to joke around. The only thing I personally seen him serious about is playing and performing passionately with conviction. Also, things he respects, his guitar heroes and musical idols, family, Ozzy, Marshall, Gibson and fellow rippers. I think he has portrayed what you’re referring to in times in the past when he was suffering and trying to hold his shit together, also metal was a more serious, vainly masculine kind of thing at one time, which many fell victim to. James Hetfield would be a prime example. So, in summary, I know where you’re coming from, but I don’t personally believe it was as serious as it looked from the outside. I could be totally wrong, but that’s my take on it.

Love both but zakk is a much more complete guitar next to slash. Zakk is a fuckin beast and dominates even flamingo and country Chucken pickin . Slash only dominates blues and rock scales penthatonic and minor scales. Is not even a fair fight.
