The Shara Ishvalda reaction was golden lmao. The exact same every hunter had during its quest, including me. And considering the fact that the reveal comes after a fight against Ruiner Nergi, another to destroy the shell of Shara, all in the same quest, it's even more grandiose; you have no breather in villages or safe spots when you come to that point! One of my favorite monster reveals of the series. And the music.... Eargasm!!

To answer a few of your questions, yes you should absolutely watch the 2019 size comparison, the one here was only a showcase of World/Iceborne monsters, plus that one is more cinematic. You were actually not far off on most of the names, your pronunciation of Tzitzi Ya Ku was impressive! Brachydios (the one that looked as though he were biting his arms) licks the slime attached to his hands to activate it, its saliva acting as a primer for the explosive organisms living within the slime. The Leshens are from a crossover event with the Witcher 3! MH is famous for its high-quality crossovers. The reason Lunastra just fell over while every other monster got its cool intro is because she's one of the most hated monsters in World, especially for speedrunners. Behemoth is another crossover monster from Final Fantasy 14! My favorite monster in the series is Shara Ishvalda, the one that shed the rock shell, and your reaction is everything I could have possibly hoped for :) Zorah Magdaros is a giant snapping turtle, and the volcanos surrounding him are his shell!

This is all a size comparison of World’s monsters for confirmation, including the crossovers event ones, Leshen from The Witcher collab, and Behemoth from Final Fantasy.

The 2019 size comparison shows the monsters from each generation in an organized and cinematic manner. Weiss gaming also has a size comparison posted up which shows each monster animated and moving dynamically more than team darkside's. The monsters there are from gen 1 to gen 4 but not all of them I think.

Since I didn't see anyone mention this, this isn't done in blender! Based on their "making of" video this was all done in game through the use of cheats, and these are all actual monsters (which caused the some issues apparently lol) ^^

There are variants, subspecies and other sub catagorys some are mutation, monsters in certain conditions (a blck diablos is simply a female diablos in heat) and some are just adapted to different environments

He just likes the coat, and the Effluvium protects him. Vaal Hazak is responsible for the Rotten Vale (area in World) still being around. He lives in, with, and around Effluvium. He even feeds by gassing targets to pre-digest them, then re-inhaling the full gas. Also, yes, good eye-Vaal Hazak is very much based on deep sea fish like eels and viperfish to give him that extra “mmm no, don’t like that” vibe. 24:31 “Ner-gi-gahn-tay”

The Leshen is from a crossover with Witcher 3, Behemoth is another crossover monster from Final Fantasy. The really big one are siege monsters you face through the hub. And yes they are all from World/Iceborn

Random Fun Fact 4 months late 28:46 Zorah Magdaros is technically, by Monster Hunter standards, a Dragon. Under the giant volcano shell, Zorah has two fairly short arms on its back that it probably uses to help keep its shell steady. They’re really hard to see in game because it requires Zorah to lower their head and raise their back, and even then all you see are his extra elbows. Zorah has 6 limbs in total, which is horrifying. It also took a few years to actually develop and make Zorah for World

This is just monster hunter world + Iceborne. It's not even half of the full roster of the franchise, pretty cool right? The older games have more varieties, they have monkeys, bears, insects, spiders and even crabs. World was amazing but one of it's flaws was that all of the monsters were scaly beasts (except Rajang). The monster variety is starting to come back with Rise

Technically, Behemoth is from Final Fantasy (FF XIV to be exact). They did a collaboration, so FF XIV has a special quest to fight a Rathalos.

There is actually an even bigger one in mh4 ultimate there is the so called dalamadur wich is a snake that coils itself arround mountains the one we fight in game is over 400 meters long but there is a skeleton in world that suggests they could grow up to 2 miles

The weird zombie looking dragon isn’t a zombie. Vaal Hazak is an elder dragon class monster that lives in the deepest parts of a place known as The Rotten Vale. The Rotten Vale is the place where all monsters in the knew world go to die, and a home for some of them. It is primarily comprised of the dead carcass of the giant snake monster you saw in the other video. But, the reason Vaal Hazak looks like a zombie is because it has hook like spikes on its body, then it covers itself in rotting carcasses and tissue when it sleeps. So, when it wakes up the dead and rotting tissue is hooked onto the monsters body thus making it look like a zombie. But, underneath the dead tissue is a slim, sleek, fish like scaled, silvery body. It isn’t capable of flight even though it has wings due to it not having any wing flaps, but it does have strong muscles though. Also, it has a very eel like jaw with an extra lower jaw that is meant for grabbing onto prey.
