in my playthrough i had a overlord shield guy, with 2 healing abilities (1 epic) and quick learner (countered everything but pin), too bad he had iron will and lost quick learner when i shamed him, otherwise he took forever to bring down would definatly ruin some ones timer attacking my base.

Vocu If his weakness was pinning then he is one of the easiest overlords to kill. All you need to do is spam arrows into his foot. If you want the best annoying overlord, either have fast learner or no chance. The only weaknesses ok to have is vulnerable to stealth or terrified of Morgai Flies. You can't use stealth in the room and there is no Morgai flies in the room. Arrow - proof isn't required but it's nice to have so they can't spam arrows until he dies. Above all, don't have an Olog as a overlord or a warcheif. Orcs have better perks and and a better playstyle that is harder to counter compared to Ologs.

It's not just the fact that Shadow Of War has microtransactions. It's more of the fact that us accepting this stuff will lead to companies enforcing it even more so. Why are they in the game to begin with? A 60$ single-player game to be exact. That's on top of the DLC that they are going to release. Point is, even if it's not required to buy lootboxes, they shouldn't be in Shadow Of War. Right now they don't affect the game that much. But in the coming years more games will start using microtransactions after seeing how successful they are and how people don't mind them. And more companies like EA and Warner Bros will start selling you actual cut content as microtransactions on top of the DLC, and people will still find excuses to defend these companies.

That's the thing, whine and complain like it already happened. Too much "What if's" is the reason why joy in game is being destroyed. Once they implement a pay2play game... then there will be a reason for all these negative responses. But for now, I would like to enjoy the game.

All I did was do the story missions and I got to level 55 really easily. Then the shadow of war siege defenses and there you go, level 60. Just would want to add that the main story was done in 20 hours for me lol

ye i done very mission apart from 2 fight pits and couple of shadow war things but for the pits and other stuff im under level really and xp is just small and dont level me up. i was only level 40 once i got into act 4 and now im 43 or 44.

AyZeD yu can get gear up to 65, but talking level only goes up to 60. Also there are less skills you can buy than skill points you can unlock and I’m getting sick of the unlock skill icon

I'm lvl 45 and at stage 5 of the shadow wars. I just found out that killing lvl 60 captains give around 6000xp each so i'm going to grind that for a while i guess.

I'm in the same boat, level 48 and up to I think stage 4. So far I think my best bet is xp boosts and nemesis missions which give around 2000 xp each. I wanna hit level cap before I tackle it. I haven't seen too many 60 plus orcs either only really ones I created myself by shaming and turning into maniacs

SirFluffertonPlays I was in the same situation but you actually get about a levels worth of xp per fortress defence. I started at level 46 today at stage 6 of the Shadows Wars and now I have finished all the stages I'm level 60.

SirFluffertonPlays Do pit fights. Get the highest ranked guys you have and keep pit fighting. Do the maggot one over and over until your guys are whatever level you are. Then do seige upgrades and put those high level guys in their. That'll bring your fortress up equal to or more when you do the seiges. I went from level 46 to level 51 just by doing the Maggot pit fights then following up on the sieges

1. This isn't on the highest difficulty 2. Deathmarch becomes piss easy once you delve a bit into Alchemy

Those who own the game know how so easy it is to get those lootboxes... and the gold for buying the lootboxes.... just do the community/daily challenges.... also Online Vendettas give you lootboxes..... Not forgetting the first few online conquests are really nice lootbox fodder.... I got 3 legendary Olog-hai from this week's "Recruit 3 olog captains challenge"..... so yeah you dont need any real money here
