People are not recognizing how revolutionary this interview is. This is the only interview I've ever seen where the interviewer actually talks to Morrissey about his MUSIC instead of his public image.

I don't know of any of Zane's other work so I can't speak too confidently, but based on this interaction he is a very good interviewer. You all need to get a grip.

@lamestguyintown He's a Kiwi, but no fruit. A New Zealander with a zeal for music and a solid interviewing technique. His is too forthright for my liking, but he is a worthy empoyee of MTV for my money.

Not a huge fan of Zane, but this is a terrific interview. However annoying he is, he certainly knows his stuff.

The vinyl nude concept seems lifted right of a promo shot done by the canadian band "Kids on TV", a few years before that. Sooo, not very creative I must say...

moz left the Smiths over a misunderstanding. that being that Marr wanted to leave the band, which was not true. i wish they would get together . smiths were both marr and moz together. moz and marr wrote the songs and marr arranged the music while moz sang the songs.
