Bonjour Kimi je vois que la culture en panier fonctionne bien. Je viens de voir que tu utilises de l'engrais pendant l'été pour tes jeunes plans. De l'engrais pour le tronc et les branches? Beaux pliages sur les plans, ils vont être impressionnants dans deux ou trois ans.😍

Interesting point, Kimi! Advantage and disadvantage of fast growing or slow/normal growing. As the years passed by and I grow older and older, personally I prefer more and more normal/slow growing to be honest. But I guess it's a matter of finding the right balance and doing the right things at the right moments. In fact: that is of course always the case with bonsaï, as it is in life. Although at the end, I really think that speeding and bonsaï is in fact, not a good match. Interesting video, again. Another 100 abo's to go...😉

Jose, I cut needles if I want new buds in the area, inside curves and on bottom I pluck so that less of a chance of new buds. The top is a sacrifice so you strip needles off and wire it off in a direction to not shade the lower branches will end up being your shohin tree. Cutting the needles on the lower branches slows down their development so the truck will still get thick but branches thin. The way to get short needles is to cut the buds at this time of the year, the new buds won't have enough time to lengthen by end of summer. I have over 500 JBP and JRP and that is how I train them.

One way to shorten the pine leaves is to cut the buds around July. Also, fertilize and water sparingly. Many of them are done with trees that are close to completion ^^ Thank you, I will use it as a reference for future content ^^
