Its the coaching staff on the lakers, Notice how westbrook plays better without lebron? Its because both players are ball dominant players and need the ball at all times but the lakers team was do dumb to pair both of em on one team

I think Russ should bring up the ball quickly like this and make other guys run too in case Russ needs them or to get a rebound when Russ misses. But they never did that. Russ and Bron quick attack could have been really scary

It’s not mentioned enough how Russ had the highest assists average in the last 25 years last season and it immediately plummeted on the lakers because of the way he was used

Yea. They are both ball dominant players. Lakers front office messed up big time for pairing up two players who topped the league in usage rate.

Lebron was supposed to fall back even they picked up Westbrook, but he could never trust him enough to handle the ball like they originally intended on doing. I am not mad at Westbrook, and they will come back stronger. Bron needs to learn how to let the game come to him, and stop trying to do it by himself...we know Bron can dominate in the paint, but let Russ & AD do the heavy lifting.

Lakers play so much better without Lebron. When Bron plays everyone just stands around and watches, when he doesn’t play Russ gets everyone open looks and touches. I don’t want to be that guy but Bron rn hurts the Lakers more than he helps
