Anyone who says Zastava is "Trash" obviously has no clue....every rifle that Zastava makes comes out of the same factory and is made from the same materials and same tooling as their military-grade offerings. Everything they make is high quality, their trigger groups are actually proprietary and superior to standard AKM, and for a long time they were shorting themselves by selling their product at the lowest possible price point. Serbia has long had a domestic arms industry, it goes back centuries, and they make everything from APCs to tanks to artillery pieces. Unfortunately they're also the victim of a centuries-long Islamic terrorist insurgency, which was backed by NATO airstrikes in an effort to weaken Serbia, steal its people and land, but also make it too small and isolated to serve as a foothold for Russian influence. Sound familiar? Yes it does, because it's literally the same thing they did to Syria later on. Anyway, Serbian ammunition is also very good quality, better than most USA manufacturers. God is a Serb *I would put one of these up against a Springfield M1A any day of the week. Springfield, now there's a company that makes complete fucking trash....holy shit dude

what's wrong with the M77 with a muzzle brake?

@@nikolicnikola1701 the barrel is very thin for 308, and certain brakes affect the barrel harmonics, leading to very poor accuracy, about 6 moa in my experience Whereas my setup with a flash hider shoots 147 grain ball around 1.4 moa and tightens up to 1.2 with a suppressor

The M91 is a true DMR. The M77 is more in line with rifles like the FAL and G3. They’re different rifles meant for different things. The M91 with proper ammunition will be more accurate. Obviously from the video, the M77 has no issues though. You’ll like either one though. If you have the money, get the M91. There are probably 10/1 more M77s in the country. The M91 will be significantly more expensive down the road.

@@Mr.K.14823 The M77 is built on the same receiver as the M70. The M91 is a different beast. They’re all AK derived, but there are substantially differences in the guns. The PSL project is related to the M76 and M91, but it is still very different. The M77 was made as a late market entry to compete with the existing battle rifle type platforms versus the M76 and M91 being made to be purpose built sniper rifles.

Get both. I started with the m90. The m77 feels like the same weight

@@Mr.K.14823 Unfortunately, Serbia banned exports as they want to restock their goods, do to increase of political instability in their province of Kosovo, where Albanians terrorising rest of Serbs , so they prepare for war. But it’s only temporary, very soon export will be restored, first for hunting rifles, then other. M19 is military only, but I heard it will make pure civilian version soon, in 6.5 Grendel, probably you guys will have it next year. I tried one, love it.Also PPU will make Grendel for export. Here it’s around 1.6 to 1.8 per bullet, and it’s hard to find also…308 is 1.2 , prices just go up…

No I just use the Rs regulate mount, its the best way imo.

UTG makes the Zastava mounts. Just buy UTG branded mount. Way cheaper

RS Regulate is the best. AK Master Mount is a close second IMO. They also make them for Yugo Pattern Rifles

I think the AK, despite being developed at the end of WWII is still a more sophisticated weapon. I wouldnt compare them.

I own the gun and it's got quite some heavy kick compared to both of my 7.62x39 rifles (when shooting regular supersonic). I have the wolverine suppressor on it and also bought subsonic 308 for it though and that combo you can barely tell you're shooting a bullet until you hear it thud the dirt wall like a brick

Also had this gun for a while. Great gun, but it does have quite a bit of recoil compared to 7.62x39. Still completely worth it.

It is definitely not pleasurable to shoot lol. It will thump you good depending on your weight. Much more recoil than a 7.62x39.

Get it while you still can. No more imports of the ~zastava’s~ into the USA until further notice.

The gun needs a 200-300 rounds breaking period. When changing the gas levels. Make sure you follow and read the manual on how to adjust it. They should also tell you what level you should have it on for the breaking period. Anything that fits the m70 will also fit the m90. If you don't field strip it to adjust the gas port like how aK operator did it in his video, then it's going to break the port pin. The gun can/is accurate but heavy, around ten pounds before adding accessories. Overall, it's a great buy, and the price is affordable. Just make sure you read what will void the warranty.
