HAHA i realize this is a bit older video but i just got into the SKS's and , my 1st one was a factory 26 Norinco. Eh it shoots nice but i have not had it long. Meanwhile i just brought home, today in fact, a Tula SKS. Im guessing the Chinese one has a bolt release mod of some kind as I couldnt figure out how to shut the bolt on the Tula ? Hehe popping open the mag to do so is awesome to know. I didnt want to ask at my local shop, where i got the gun and look like an idiot! LOL Great video brother!!!

Avoid Palmetto State AKs. Bolt and barrel were out of spec. They repaired it. Got it back- Firing pIn channel flaked metal and jammed the rifle. Bolt Carrier got heat discolored on the chrome after 30 rounds. I got rid of it.

Shot K2 during boot camp, and shot M16A1 in Army Reserve training. M16 has that 'gentle push' recoil and K2 has that bit 'snappy' (but not too much) recoil, which I suspect is due to reciprocating charging handle and shorter bolt travel length. Also M16 was tad bit lighter than K2 (or I'm just imagining it), but it was so comfy carrying around during rucksack marches with the folding stock (even though I was told not to haha). P.S.: K2 was so easy to field strip and take care of but I can't say for sure compared to M16 coz I haven't field stripped M16 to an extent.

Cool yea, cooler or better than a rifle platform that’s as versatile as possibly can be, nah. An ar can do everything it can but better and with better ergonomics. Can be chambered in any small rifle caliber and configured in any way you can imagine. Only hipsters hate the ar to try and be different

So many cool firearms are not being imported as in cool rifles from Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, us is sending arms to Vietnam and they have pretty cool AKs also Bangladesh still produces the T81 the new versions of these Korean rifles are modernised. A few thousand SA80A2 cadet rifles could be imported as they are straight pull, then SA80A2 and A3 parts kits as they plan to replace them this year but will probably give them to Ukraine or something.

They are still being made by 1 or 2 company's in SK they also make M4 and M16 type rifles but the only export models are some handguns that are pretty cool. One very good semi-import is a Taiwanese T91 clone as in wolfA1 upper with an AR15 T91 marked 80 lower and some other parts, the hardest part to find to make it as clone correct as possible was a imported gas block and then finding a good AR15 CHF CL barrel that had no gassport drilled.
