@electriclarry3132 That was my thought. I was torn on both, but decided on the all black because the stock against your shoulder is larger and hard rubber so it makes is more comfortable to shoot. Plus my wife shoots too and she is a lot shorter so it is more adjustable.

That Serbian Red recolor of the furniture looks absolutely gorgeous. Makes me wish they offered different patterns from the factory other than battleworn, especially for the stock

I love my m77. I sold the original slant cut with thumbhole stock and bought this new version because it nows has chrome line barrel along with chf. Also square cut receiver with military configuration. All built by zastava. My century arms front sight post had to be pushed all the way to the left to be zeroed. This ne2 one is all centered and good.

How’s that UTG side rail holding up? Holding zero? Ever considered a RS regulate mount?

Are you having ammo fitment issues with the magazines? My 10rd mags will not fit 168gr hornady Amax bullets and barely works with 168gr Sierra Match Kings. Its been frustrating because the heavier bullets will shoot consistent 1in groups at 100yrds

Well if you bought the rifle! Send me the hand guard I’ll get it refinished for you! Turn around time is like 14 days, it’s took around 10-11 days for the linseed oil to cured.

It’s was AK builder dragunov style flash hider. I went to academy sport compared the vortex and the redfield side by side. The redfield somehow are much clearer than the vortex

Having that flash hider on it is going to increase the recoil on it as well. You need to put a muzzle brake on it instead

I would recommend 2 brakes.......a SJW Customs "Titan Extreme" or a 4 hole/extended Hungarian AMD-65 muzzle brake. I have both however, my AMD-65 brake makes my even lighter Aero Precision 12.5" short-barrel .308 recoil like a .556

Mine seems a little over gassed too from the factory I left it on setting 2 didn’t have any issues. I would have put it to one but I can’t find any videos on how to adjust it

Looks really close to my type-81 LMG(another pretty sweet AK variant)...minus the bi-pod and carry handle! Probably just as heavy as her too🐖

The best way to make the M77 feel like a feather weight is to lug the M91 around for awhile!

My scope mount, from Zastava, did end up breaking in the back and slid all the way forward on the rail. I have bought high-height scope mounts and remounted the rail mount to test the scope and system again. But has this happened to anyone else??? I am concerned.

The round counts now are 750 and still hold up good.

@@kialmaynard5176 you might need to tighten up the bottom screw, I took my scope off, shoot it iron sight and put the scope back on, and it’s hold up pretty darn good! Try to tighten down one mount and that should fix your problem

I was hit with a ricochet off of a steel AR500 target at 70yds (556). A piece of jacket went 1' into my calf. I bled all over the range.

Alright Get you a mixture of 70% of barn red from winmax from Lowe’s and 30% of the boiled linseed oil. And Waa Laa

The M77 is a better weapon! After handling both the m1a and the M77 and doing some research it was an easy choice for me to go with the M77.

Your lucky you got this. There is talks that Zastava may stop imports due to the Serbian government. I am thinking about getting an M77 before it's too late.

Thats why I ordered the all black m77. The ban right now is a month, but im worried it may be extended longer. I already have a m92 alpha and m70.

@westcoastplinkin6559 Yeah I can definitely see it go on awhile and it being an import if you miss the boat that's it and I didnt want to be in that position. They make such stellar rifles and barely anywhere I see has them in store. I've never seen an m77 in store anyway, only a few m70s. I'm supposed to pick mine up on Tuesday. Atlantic firearms had them, but sold out so classic firearms had some for about $35 more.

UTG is neither the maker of the scope mount or made in the USA. I'm not sure where Zastava has theirs built. If you really want a true US made mount there are some solid choices such as AKMastermount or RS Regulate.

That cleaning rod will effected the accuracy of the barrel by 3 inches! With the cleaning rod on and the contact between the barrel and the metal rod will shoot a 5 inches group! After I removed it it’s shoot a 2 inches group constantly with the same ammo! Try it and let me know
