One touch return to stock - Download Factory settings to your tazer, for one-touch return to stock configurations
Auto-Drive Mode (16+ SCAT/SRT/HELLCAT): Vehicle will be able to start in whichever Drive mode selection you would like (Sport/Custom/Track/Default)
Auto- Drive mode (15+ SXT/RT): Vehicle will be able to start in Sport Mode
Auto-Drive Mode (12+ Durango/Jeep GC): vehicle will be able to start in sport mode/auto turn traction control off
Auto Start/Stop Disable (15+ Durango/ Jeep GC) : Automatically disable Auto Start/Stop when the car is started if desired
Modify Tire Size: Corrects speedometer for non-factory tire size
Modify Tire Pressure: Corrects TPMS for lower or higher tire pressure (FRONT/Rear)
IN-Motion (2017) - Enter address into your GPS unit while the car is in motion
Easy Exit Seating (2015+ Challenger/Charger): upon vehicle shut off. Steering wheel and seat will go to further position for easy vehicle exit

Removed Tazer and settings to take the Scat Pack in for service this week.Perfect timing for version 2.4. The instructions from zAutomotive have always been good and the instructions with 2.4 are great. None the less your videos do a great job of clarifying the instructions and preventing misinterpretations. Thanks for your videos, I'm sure your trial and errors save others time and confusion.

I don't have a TaZer but I do like that functionality upgrade, makes it easier on the user not having to write down and store the changes. What it does is eliminates the dealer from using your changes as an out to why things aren't working and can't try and say you screwed your warranty also. So now I pronounce you Challenger and Tazer! Great video love your editing skills.

I really wish they'd let you create shortcut buttons with the tranzformer beyond where the adaptive cruise buttons are (my car has them). I know the can bus can see most of the buttons getting pressed. Maybe I just need to build a can bus sniffer and get it to watch for certain things. Anyway, cool channel man. Really surprised you don't have more subscribers, the video production quality is really good.

I have an 17' R/T Super Track Pak. Is there any plans soon to bring Track Mode to the RT models? I have active exhaust and I would love to put it in track mode and have the valves open at all times. Thanks for all the new great features!

This is really a way for tazer to make it so you can’t use it on multiple cars at once. This is why I’m still using version 2.3

True, you can no longer hook up the tazer to a bunch of cars and modify or even worse sell the modification of the non live settings. It does impact some of the people who own 2 or more cars where the TaZer works, but those people may be able to contact zAutomotive to see if they can license extra cars for a small fee. In reality people are buying the TaZer then selling the unlock to other people, that's wrong. As is making changes in peoples cars and leaving them with no way to put them back. In addition many of these people are contacting zAutomotive tech support for assistance on issues and they never actually bought a product from them. zAutomotive of course would consider this a major loss and I'm happy they found a way to fix it. I get TONS of requests for help every week, and many of them are from people who paid someone else to unlock some features and can't undo it. It's an incredible waste of my time and I'm not even getting paid to support the TaZer. They have some amazing features in the latest firmware release and many more coming, those who upgrade will really benefit.

Awsome video! I'm so so glad that I waited until 2.4! With this Marry function I'm purchasing it it right away! Making it better than perfect. A question I have is that if my 8.4 uconnect did not have the NAV, can the tazer add it into the uconnect by any chance? Thx

Thank you, Unfortunately no the uConnect with Nav is a different radio entirely, you are not missing out on much, both my Challenger and Jeep have the uConnect with Nav and I use Google Maps on my phone for everything.

If you want to use NAV in your unconnect you can use cydia to download bridge play then you could watch KZfaq and google maps

Question. Just received my tazer today the only thing that is confuse me is in the tazer menu I see a reboot option as well a reboot option that counts down from 2 , 1 after making a change should I use the reboot option or do as you did with the select the firmware and select.

Curious about your sunroof vinyl. Is it perforated (with little holes so light can come thru) or is it just like any normal vinyl graphics that youd get if you were applying it to a painted area of your car?

Hope you can answer a question for me, im looking at purchasing a scat pack, i noticed that it has a srt button on the uconnect screen which im assuming is because the car has a tazer. I'm curious, if the car has a taser installed but the taser is not with the car, is there a way to uninstall the taser without having It? Or can you just install a new taser?

Hey WPD ► Brand new 2020 Scat Chally - my old tazer was married to car that was totalled 3 weeks ago.(2018 scat). NOW tried to DBL BYPS same tazer to 2020 and get a 'VIN number error'. Never unmarried from hit and run totalled 2018.... Suggestions to get old Tazer to work.?

Just did the 2.4.1 upgrade in my 2015 Scat (M6) and it has some cool new features like the marry, easy exit, and full reboot! However, I can't seem to get either of the start mode functions (StMode, AutoSport) to work where it's supposed to start up in whatever drive mode you select. I also can't seem to map a drive mode ( such as Track or Sport) to the aux buttons I added (thanks to your video!) or to the now inactive Sport button. Have you had any similar issues?

Yes, due to the way it works in 2.4 when you unmarry it returns your car to the exact configuration you married it in. when unmarried you can change features so if it's not stock when you Marry it you will have some issues returning it to stock in the future unless you downgrade the firmware.

note my service airbag light is not because of the TaZer, I have a seat belt pretensioner out causing the light to stay on.

By the way if you have a 2015/16 Charger 3.6 or 5.7 you cannot set SRT mode or Splash to Hellcat this will cause the airbag light to fire up. This is due to a config mismatch. the 3.6 or 5.7 get no functionality from SRT mode.

What do I do when my charger is not even recognizing the tazer being in the one port. I’ve reached out to support and they stopped replying. Tazer was working perfectly fine then just stopped all together

Good question - at this time you start out at stock Now that they have return to stock working I believe and hope they are going to address this with some options to store other configurations soon, I may even have a work around for it, but I need to work with them on a few things before I put up a video on it.

Service airbag system is from the tazer. Everyone I've know including myself has had this happen. The tazer manual mentions it but I could never fully clear it. It's annoying. I had the dealer fix it last oil change and it hasn't come with on since.

Yes that’ll work as long as you unmarried it from the previous cars before trying to use the features. There are some features called live features that will work if you don’t unmarry it from another car. Check out their online manual for more details

I have a '15 SRT 392. I don't think the tazer would provide enough features that the SRT already has to make it worth while for me. It would be rather expensive just for the line lock feature. Would you agree or am I missing something?

There are a bunch of features Line Lock alone through other means (like mechanical) is pretty expensive, same with rear brakes :) . , Light show, Navigation in Motion, Cool down mode for the engine, Auto Drive mode (start in drive mod of your choice) check out the full feature list on their site. (not just the updates I have listed) they also sell the burnbox which gives you line lock, Light Show and a few other features for less.

Thanks!!! Don't do this update!!! Now when I push sport mode the traction control doesn't go into sport mode automatically. Then in perf. Control you push sport steering, comfort etc. It goes back to default???? Selections you make don't stay??? Fog lights to stay on automatically anymore. Everytime I start the car I have to manually turn then on again??? Answers please!!!

@@WorkPlayDrive Got it used. He swore it was unmarried but it’s not acting that way, I updated it to the latest firmware but should I put it back to the original firmware when I put in the settings? It only allowed me to put in each setting 1 time and that was the very first time I installed it. Now the settings are dry

I've got a Barton shifter to replace the stock. I know what you mean though the stock shifter is pressed on with no threads making it very difficult to go with an after market knob. I've seen where people have pried the knob off and threaded the stock shifter rod, but I was going with the Barton anyway so I just waited.

It's a distressed Flag, you'll see parts of the stripes missing as well.

I unmarried the tazer, everything went back to stock but the screen still says srt and not dodge. Any help with this would be appreciated. I have to bring the car in to dodge for service and I don’t want them to see this.

If you have a 2017 and lower just exit the car close the doors wait 30 seconds. Start at the car if it’s still there shut it down leave the car wait another minute then try again. On the 2018 and up you need to pull the radio fuse to reset it. This step is critical after changing settings, or you may find that the dash doesn’t shut down, which can result in a dead battery. For 2018 models, the add-a-circuit block from the Double Bypass needs to be unplugged then plugged back in so the radio can reboot.

Quick question brother - I installed and setup version 2.4.1, and married the car. Everything works fine. One of the new features listed is that the car can start in whichever drive mode you chose. I never changed this setting and the car keeps starting in sport. Where can I modify this? I ran through the menu three times and I can’t find anything that seems even close.

These are Live settings, to change those you need to Start the car then access the TaZer Menu and turn off AutoSport mode.

You need the original TaZer to unmarry and return to stock. Or you can get your hands on someone’s older TaZer and a list of all the default settings the previous owner changed.

Had to part with my Black 15 Challenger Scat Pack. Sold my Tazer. Guy returned it to me because it was still "Married" to my VIN. If I load an earlier version software onto the Tazer, will that not delete my VIN? Then reload the latest version. Thus the new owner could "Marry" it to his car? I am having trouble getting Z to give me a good answer. The guy who purchased it from me was told by Z I would have to return it to them and for a $50 fee they could unlock it (un-marry). I am confused!

To be honest, going to a lower firmware seems like a possible way to do it, but they may have changed the ability to go back by adding protection to the "married memory" I recall them having issue where people married to their car then downgraded erasing the settings. Itt couldn't hurt to down grade, connect to a challenger and test.

Work Play Drive Zauto states I can go back to older version, however, the new owner will not be able to upgrade to 2.4 because its "Married" to my VIN.

Work Play Drive Thanks for your videos, same situation with the married Tazer. Any more info on installing an older version. Scat Pack was hit by a drunk driver but I have a new one now .

They pulled 2.4 due to a bug. I just spoke with Joe it should be out in the next few days they were doing some intense bug testing.

Once uninstalled/unmarried does using tazer leave any trace at all for the dealer to see? I understand it’s not a tune.

If you are removing it permanently Follow the unmarry process then unplug. If you are removing it temporarily and want to maintain the Non Live features simply unplug the TaZer.

At the end of the video you said “Everything is back to normal,” but your airbag light was still on. Did you figure out how to get that to go out?

Yes the airbag light was due to my forgetting to connect the front driver side seatbelt squib. I had pulled them out have them custom webbed.

Yes you can use the full features Tazer as long as you unmarry it from the previous vehicle.

You can always ask them to show you a picture of the TaZer unmarried in their car.

Nope sorry just zautomotive.com. I you’re buying used make sure the previous owner un-marries from their car. Otherwise it’s a $40 charge to reprogram the device.

They ship with the latest firmware installed, with the release of 2.4 beign so close to your ship date you may want to contact them directly to see what was loaded on your unit

Luxe can do the standard flag and custom flags, but the official Mopar logos are waiting on their Mopar Licensing process to complete. Mine is a sample piece they made for the licensing approval process. They should be licensed shortly then they will immediately appear on the site.

Not really, what I would recommend is install 2.3.2 you can find it at the top of this page. zautomotive.com/tazer-update/ Use this version to change any settings back to the stock settings. Then reset your car. Once back to stock settings you can now upgrade to version 2.4 and Marry. I cover that in this video > kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gNWbhNx1rsiRiok.html

@@WorkPlayDrive I would love to see that process demonstrated. so the previous owner of my car married a tazer to the car. When he traded it in he did not wipe out the settings and bring to stock settings, so now, i have no tazer and im stuck with the tazer settings that he put on and my sport mode button does not work!! its irritating for sure!

@@WorkPlayDrive First, I never noticed a question that needed an answer until now. I don't spend a lot of time on KZfaq. This thing caused weird behavior with my car when my car was new a year or so ago. The uconnect interface changed to an older one, flickering dash back lighting, windows not auto rolling up properly, and a number of other things. I haven't used it in a while. Maybe it has been improved. I will try it out today maybe to see since I am off work. Maybe there is an update.
