Great video! I was one of the folks asking about the battery life. I finally got my z cam and I've been using some powerextra 8800mah/65.12wh batteries and they've been amazing! Plus they were only like $35 for 2 on amazon I think. Anyway thanks for the info! A lot of people are going to find this video extremely helpful in their z cam research.

@@WilsonTaylor so far I’m loving the z cam! Great image and a lot less set up and easier power options than the Blackmagic ever had. I still need to test it in some more scenarios though, but so far I’m very impressed!

It’s awesome that these Sony batteries give such long runtime on the z cam. Just ordered my E2-M4. Can’t wait to add it into the mix.

OMG my Friend so happy to hear !! you are going to love the Z Cam M4 great camera! check out the powerextra battery's you can get two for around 27 bucks on Amazon, and they last around 4 hours just on one battery. Let me know how you like the Z Cam when you get it!

Great video. It completely didn’t click with me to use a smaller battery while using a gimbal. Because I had it balanced, but the battery would hit the back so I actually got a new lens to balance it. I’m definitely trying it out with the smaller one because your point that you wouldn’t be holding a gimbal for that long is exactly right.

@@WilsonTaylor Quick question for you. How have you found the low light capability of your E2-M4? I am wanting to upgrade to a Z Cam from a Mirrorless APS-C camera, but am not sure if the MFT sensor will be enough for me.

It’s something I’ve been thinking of getting the E2 M4 but I want to change the Mount to the MFTs active lock Mount.

Do you know how to see the remaining battery life percentage in the app or on the little screen (besides using the low-battery warning alarm). It shows voltage, but no battery life amount.

There is no way to see it! That is why I like the PowerExtra battery's so you can see how much is left.

I’ve got the same camera and the battery life is indeed awesome. I’m not sure I still need my V mount batteries, or indeed my Ninja V.
