Sure each actor brought different aspects to the role but still loved chareter and couple case two Sonny and Carly four actresses played Carly again each brought differnt aspects to the role still loved chareter and couple

Nancy Cottone a recast would never work. Ryan was too great and I don’t think anyone would want to have a recast of his role because it was too iconic. It would kinda destroy Robron’s legacy if that makes sense. And Robron fans would go maad.

Nancy Cottone I know that recasts do work sometimes. But I still don’t think a recast would work here. Ryan and Danny made Robron great and popular and replacing Ryan would just create a massive backlash as Robron fans are quite passionate about their ship. If this ship wasn’t so popular and loved, I think Emmerdale would actually consider a recast but for now I think they know that a recast isn’t the way to go. I doubt they will ever consider it tbh. They will just pair up aaron with someone else eventually.

@@nancycottone2155 Nah, yall are used and familiarized with ryan because he played rob for the all robron storyline and thats ok, but saying he is the only one who csn play rob is bit of a reach, he was great as a villain but his acting is average, plus he is very dry at delivering emotions, he always looked awkward next to Ryan when it came to dramatic scenes. The character of robert has had already like three actors, so is not new. I would happily take a recast if it meant that we get the character of Robert, it would be a huge loss if they ditch that character (ryan is not interested on playing it anymore, lets not considering him as a variable, out of respect for the man, its annoying that people still want him back we he doesnt want to). Getting Aaron with some other bloke would never even close to Robron meant, they literally were each others development tool (from a storytelling standpoint) the redeeming, the abuse, learning self love, forming a family, we would lose all that progress if we lost Rob, any other man on Aarons life would forever live under that shadow. I have hopes for Robs return with another actor (prison changes people afterall lmao) so they can explore more of his character, his relationship with his son, with liv, with his family, him making friends, growing his bussines, as an individual and then the inevitable Robron reunion.
