I would like to hear an update. I have a couple zebralight headlamps. I think headlamps are the way to go (hands free). Anyways hopefully they took care of you.

I agree with everything you’re saying I had the same thing happened to mine on the seatbelt getting caught and I love the zebra light interface I have three lights including floody headlamp and I love them. You get what you pay for this light will last a long time.

I had a problem with my floody headlamp, it would not work anymore for some reason …I sent it back to zebra-light for service and even though it was out of warranty they repaired it free of charge and mailed it back with two brand new batteries in the box.

My #Zebralight H600 (Mk.I)'s button quickly became flawed - you have to press it hard to get it to work, which makes double taps difficult, but it's still working, not much worse, after many years. I think they fixed the button with the Mk.II version and discontinued my original Mk.I. I still have an even older H500 - its button is fine, so I don't know why they altered it with the first H600. H600 are great headlamps - not sure why you'd want a torch, as you can use them as a torch too. You definitely don't want a floodlight version as the spotlight ones have enough flood around the hot-spot anyway. You might like to give up some lumens from the cool white version, and go for a warmer white, as pure white makes everything monochrome and harder to understand what you're looking at, despite it being brighter. A warmer yellowish light helps you see colours and differentiate between objects, despite less lumens. If you are running go with cool white for maximum brightness - for everything else go warmer. NB: Go with button-less 18650 batteries to make screwing the cap back on easier (the batteries fit better as they're shorter), and Panasonic are best. #Senybor work well - Ultrafire don't work at all - many cheap brands or fakes can't power a Zebralight! The charger you want is the cheap, but perfect, #XtarVC2. You will also need a solid/stiff head-strap to replace the very floppy original if you are going running.

Zebralight to me is one of those companies like Spyderco and glock where i try all sorts of stuff, like it alright but there's always something missing. I've had a few lights before I got my zebralight and they were great but I would just be thinking it would be nice to have a light for X or Y. Then i got a zebralight sc52w l2 and it's basically perfect. For an EDC light, i can't fathom ever wanting anything else, i'm unsure of how it could even be improved upon. Recently decided to get a new light specifically for night hiking, something a little bigger with a bit more power. I'd wager after get my sc64w hi from zebralight in a week or two i'll probably never buy another light cuz I couldn't conceivably need another light. I stopped buy knives when i got my spydercos, stopped by pistols when i got my glocks and i'll probably stop on flashlights.

Zebralight: Send your flashliight back to Zebralight. Sounds like it is malfunctioning. All my Zebralights, click button 4 times: 4 flashes= Battery 100% charged, 3 flashes=75% charged, 2 flashes= 50% charged, 1 flash= 25% charged. Love Zebralight
