Fun fact: Beyoncé was not announced to perform and instead opened the BET awards to everybody’s surprise! You can hear the screams get louder when they realize it’s Beyonce performing

Also she was on tour this same night she one a big award from BET but had to leave for her show on the lemonade tour that same night . That’s why Mamma T accepted the award on her behalf.

FUN FACT This performance she was on the formation tour and she had a day to put this surprised performance her and Kendrick just performed on her birthday to show together and she left to get back on the road for her show the next day so epic 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Definitely react to her tidal 6inch performance

Omg she performed this song exactly like this on the Formation Tour! This was my first concert ever and it made such a lasting impression! I also saw her in her hometown Houston so that made it even more special! Great reaction as always!

This is one of Beyonce’s best performances, but You have got to see Kendrick’s performances Please do a kendrick series...his Stephen colbert performance, SNLJimmy Fallon, and Grammys with imagine dragons and his BET performance of 'Alright. And his videos are genius.. lListen to the whole album… Good Kid Madd City is an experience.. I believe he won the Pulitzer for his writing! You must check it out!

I remember she was on tour at this time and she flew back to the US to do this in-between two UK tours. I was at the show the next day so didn't expect her to perform at BET! The water stage was a part of the formation tour, you should check out clips from the tour of you liked this

He said "5-0 askin' me what's in my possession" it's in the original song. Anything police related at that time was edited out because of the brutality being front and center against Black lives. You should watch Kendrick perform with Imagine Dragons ('Radioactive'). You'll be blown away. One of the best live performances I've ever seen, and I'm not even an official fan of either artists (Kendrick or ID, though I have watched Kendrick's stuff a fair bit). ETA: I very much prefer him as a live performer (including his voice) over his studio work.
