Pt. Jasraj is a great name in Indian classical music.He served this vast nation with his devoted music and God gifted art of singing. He presented the devotional singing in the most adorable and magical voice touching the heart and soul of millions and millions people of India.I am a great fan of pt. Jasraj and his top singing specially Mewati and Haveli Sangeet.I have hundreds of cassets,CDs of pandit ji and his Bhakti Sangeet. He always sang from core of his heart and soul,contributed a lot the Nation in the form of his disciples like Pt Rataan Mohan Sharma, his daughter Durga Jasraj, his son and kavita Krishnamurthy and sSadhana Sargam who are taking forward his legacy. Sis personality was magically attractive and top class , When I listen Bhajans of Pandit ji daily in the morning ,I remember him great honour and pay my tributes to Him. Pt.Jasraj was a world renowned Personality and He should have been bestowed Bharat Ratna posthumously for Sangeet and Singing,with best wishes,M. C.
