My favorite defenseman in the draft, I hope he’s the first d off the board. He’s incredible

I like this kid, he may surprise a few people and go in the top 10 !!!
@kylepooyak45112 ай бұрын
Would be no surprise lol he’s the top scoring defender in the NCAA

Buium in my mind is the best dman this year. Reminds me of duncan Keith
@nhldraftpros2 ай бұрын
I'd say Keith was a better skater, but can see the similarities for sure.

This is going to be the best defenceman in the draft, I’d take him as high as 3
@SorcRogier2 ай бұрын
he reminds me of Mike Matheson
@joncafeАй бұрын
Habs should take him why not its a defenseman draft in the top 10. I'll take another lane hutson but bigger
@moviestoshare813Ай бұрын
To me, he’s an hybrid between : a 6’0 version of Lane Hutson & Left handed version of Simon Nemec Oh, and !!! a little bit of Morgan Rielly in him
@nhldraftprosАй бұрын
LOL...love the Franstein version of him!

I wonder which one of Parekh or Buium will be drafted first. I don't think Buium will be top 10 but will surely be 11th to 15th. A lot of very good defensemen available at the 2024 draft...I still wonder why Montreal went for Reinbacher in 2023 instead of a forward ???
@nhldraftpros2 ай бұрын
D are in demand and this 2024 class is stacked with high quality Defenseman so it will be interesting to see how it plays out in June.

my top D in the draft.

He's good!!!

I know the Ducks have Pavel Mintyukov but hear me out another left hand D would hurt us.

I wish Detroit Red Wings could draft him. His older brother Shia is a prospect in the Detroit Red Wings system.
@user-ed6nt1ml6p2 ай бұрын
I understand the appeal but it's unlikely there's no way he goes outside the top 15
@EpyeonАй бұрын
Would you prefer Buium or Parekh
@nhldraftprosАй бұрын
Buium overall D and Parekh if you're looking for offense. Depends on teams needs.

I can see the sharks taking him with the Penguins pick at 10 or 11 if he’s available after taking Celebrini
@PENS682 ай бұрын
If that pick is at 10, then it stays with the Penguins if they chose to keep it. Remember, it was a top 10 protected pick. The way the Penguins may retain their pick this year, since it’s looking like it will be a top 10 pick. The Sharks only get the Penguins first this year if it falls outside the top 10 or if the Penguins elect to give up their first rd pick this year, if it’s on the top 10. So this guy could end up a Penguin potentially.
@-Lee-03122 ай бұрын
@@PENS68 I understand that but the penguins may let the sharks have it this year. The penguins will likely be even worse next year with how things are going.
@PENS682 ай бұрын
@@-Lee-0312 I doubt that, if the pick is in the top 10, it’s being kept.
@-Lee-03122 ай бұрын
@@PENS68 I prefer they keep it the pick next year should be even closer to top 5
@PENS682 ай бұрын
@@-Lee-0312 honestly the way this season is going, it could be in the top five before the year is set and done. They won’t give up this pick if it’s in the top 10 this year.

I’m much higher on Buium and Parekh then I am on Levshunov.
@nhldraftpros2 ай бұрын
There's so many D to choose from in this draft....I think it comes down to personal preference at times for sure!
@bsu882 ай бұрын
I'll take the bigger guy with the same abilities. Also has way more upside defensively than both.
@timmytimmy8032 ай бұрын
@@bsu88 You clearly haven’t watched more then highlights. Watch Levshunov play. He is nonchalant, slow and a fucking bot creatively. Ya he got good skating but so does Tyler Myers’s. He is not projectable to a high end NHL player. He’s gon be a bottom pair pick moving D just like dozens of guys out there. Parekh and Buium offer so much creativity and flare. They both have upside to become top pair, 1st Power play studs in the NHL. Parekh is very shaky Defensively but u can’t say the same about Buium. Parekh I can see the Argument for being lower but I don’t get Buium. He is yuck.
@user-ed6nt1ml6p2 ай бұрын
@@timmytimmy803lmao the fact he is not a fast skater does'nt mean he's slow he has very good mobility for his size he has a tremendous potential defensively and a very good one in the offensive side he's a future top pairing D in the makings you're delusional
@moviestoshare813Ай бұрын
@@user-ed6nt1ml6p Levshunov reminds me a little bit of 8th OA pick in the 2019 Draft : Phillip Broberg. Big & good skater for his size… but questionable Hockey IQ / Decision making
@fosterch1124 күн бұрын
.. Hutson had 1.29 ppg… no?
@nhldraftpros24 күн бұрын
Not in his draft year...he played for USA U18 NTDP during that time.
@icypeepo9 күн бұрын
lowkey looks like a forward
@davidglazer17482 ай бұрын
I have a feeling that this guy is going to end up significantly better than 4-5 guys picked ahead of him...
@nhldraftpros2 ай бұрын
Good chance of that for sure!
@bumsuckaduckАй бұрын
Is he the Jake Sanderson of the draft? He could rise and be a very good pick I feel.
