Sports are a great arenas to promote friendships and peace! Olympic Games are amazing opportunity to bring people together! We are all against war and violence! But also it’s unfair to disqualify Russian athletes from Olympic events! They are not to blame for the recent situation! Governments have their own concerns, they don’t listen to people! Millions of Americans were and are against wars in tens of places in the world, but the US administrations don’t listen to them! Millions in Europe are against nuclear weapons and conflicts in the continent, the governments don’t listen! It’s much better to let young athletes meet and compete with the sportsmanship, and chat with each others! Yes for promote peace through sports!

@@rekamansemesterlimabcs israel in no threat to america, so they wont touch them. Russia on the other hand... America trying its best to limit Russia in any was possible. Yea sure, sports and politics are two different things, but its USA we are talking about. Im not russian, not even close, but i still dont support USA. Sometimes i think they are scared of russia, so they are trying to limit it in everything, and then crush it. I doubt, but who knows

" The difference is in Russia most of people supports Putin and the war. You don't understand the Russian mentality at all. Also sport is funded by the government and is used for propaganda.

Its not just about the war in ukraine. They got banned because of illegal substances. Please stop spreading incomplete information. Also, they were not outright prohibited from participating, they just need to be under a different flag (ROC) to be able to compete.
