Alot of people here seem worried about it being a death problem, but its no different than any other speed toy. Ive riden trail bikes, surfboards, skateboards, rollerskates, power kites, paragliders ...they all have risk. Its not for everyone, but the risk of not doing it, is not living your life n having fun. Theres a video short of a girl riding these in the forest, doing jumps, and another guy going up a steep single trail quite fast. I may swap my dirtbike out for one of these in a few years, when the models get lighter, more agile, even better suspension, and longer batt life. This one will be old school in about 5-10yrs. Like the old mobile/cell phone "bricks" we had in the 80s. These look really fun

Interesting watching all the casual “you’re gonna die” comments from non-EUCers on a notable EUC rider’s post. It really isn’t a significant concern if you’re not hitting the edge of the device’s capability, where anybody can crash on any device. I’ve had no significant on road crashes in a couple thousand miles of EUCing. I’ve crashed off-roading at 15 mph, but everybody crashes off roading anything . No significant injuries, and I’m a middle aged dad, not some pro. I honestly feel it’s safer most of the time than biking just because it’s so intuitive once you know it. I can go traffic speeds and evade danger way better than on a bike, and when I’m doing anything beyond farting around to the store a mile away at 20 mph, I’m wearing a full face helmet and body pads, which bikers never wear.

That’s got it’s place but I’m sure that small diameter will get old. Most of my rides are close to home on a V8 but I’m adding on a V11 to stretch out my travels. It does seem useable.
