But do tiny prefab homes like this appreciate in value over time? Or do they depreciate like mobile homes do over time?

@@manofsan They will appreciate like a normal property would or in some cases, depreciate based on the market.

@@sluggishincaliforniatv6741 - I'm not talking about short-term fluctuations in market value. Traditional fixed properties grow in value over the long term. This is in contrast to cars, RVs, mobile homes which depreciate in value over the long term. Which trend would apply to the prefab home in the video? A home is also supposed to be an investment.

If you are on the AZ area I believe they can show you and the multifamily will be built in august september so you can actually go see those units being stacked :)

I live in FL and love your Denizen for my primary home. Love the built in shutter idea. If I decide to add to my house down the road, will I be able to stack or place 1 side by side.

Hanging pictures would be a solution that could be figured out. But another solution would be to paint murals on the walls. I have an aunt and a sister thqt is very gifted at that. Or Im sure theree r companies that sell decal type picture or paintings that would make lovely art work for your wall.

If you are in the Mesa AZ area they are building a mixed use 90 unit apt building you could see them moving and stacking them. If not I'm sure their website will have video. I plan to go and video and post here.

When I bought my mobile home my mother was afraid of me living in it because of tornadoes. 20 years later and Im still standing, thank God. One of the worst things about a mobile home is depreciation. Im told its only worth a few thousand now. Will the Zinnihomes have the same problem? Thanks for this video. Ive always wondered where these mobile homes go to die when there no more inhabitable.

Are these available in other areas of the USA? How would you estimate to shipping cost to the Midwest? Love the robotics and multi-use ideas!

Hi there @lisahurst they ship all over the US. There are online apps that can calculate shipping costs. Figu re mid west to midw Est might be about $10k.

There are no building codes in the county we want to put one in. I don't think there is any need for an inspection.

I’ve been studying Zennihome for my lot on the Big Island of Hawaii for its design, innovation and ethos. Wondering if shipping 2 container-sized boxes to HI defeats all of its affordability and sustainability efforts?

In the interview and in my pre interview talk w him, he did state that the dimensions allow for cross oceanic trips. They plan to ship worldwide but of course tack that on to your total costs...

@@athenapaquette thank you, Athena! Your video inspired me to research the Company and their product further and I’m glad I did! We are looking at both a trucking+shipping option from AZ as well as from their foreign factory…which I hope the former works out cost-wise.

So….the quote from a freight company from AZ to HI was $55k! Half the cost is ocean fuel surcharge 🤦🏻‍♀️

@@cyagurl wow that's crazy! So waiting til fuel costs come down is your game plan unless it's still worth doing. If the improvement to the lot is a high enough value maybe you can finance that cost. Like if you are paying 150k and 55k shipping is the property after value 400k? Then a lender would finance it.

what about the appliances? after the warranty expires and they have exhausted their lifetime...can new ones be ordered from a ramdon store ot must be ordered from you?

Hopefully the kitchen have hood setup that vents outside the unit, and not just blow the exhaust back in the room. That is the one major WTF observation I have with 90% of the homes/apartments I have looked out or lived in since moving to Las Vegas.

fannie mae seller servicer and freddie mac. and if you listen towards the end of the video (sorry i didn't time mark that part) he mentions a lender that is a speciality lender for this., cheers!

There are lenders that are nationwide that will finance these since they do fit fannie mae requirements.

What if you want a double stack of the larger unit; using the lower unit for a garage area (the raised ranch idea)? So, you wouldn't need anything in the lower unit; maybe just a half bath for convenience if my husband is working on a car or a project. I just figured out shipping for two large units to the east coast. It's almost $37,000. Forget this idea.
