I came out with new porting for the G320 with a 2mm crank, (G340) this summer, (2022). The porting fills the cylinder better for more higher rpm power with out lower rpm loss. Doug @ ESP

Sweet mate will have a look are they at ddm yet.

Great choice! I bought two of those a couple years ago when DDM racing had them on deal of the day. What a difference it made. I use them in two Redcat 5ths I have. Loads of torque.

Is this ESP race ported kit as reliable as just the standard Zenaoh G320 and would you maintain it and run it in the same way or with the top end kit is there more maintenance required?
@evolverc18222 жыл бұрын
Hi no other maintenance is required so far all my esp engines are great and no issues. So yes there very reliable as long as there tuned and your running correct fuel oil mix and the engine has plenty of airflow to keep cool you won't have a problem

Hi mate are you running the +2mm stroker crank or just the head kit
@evolverc18222 жыл бұрын
Hi no this one will be running stock stroke I've already got a 34cc headkit I haven't got too yet. I'm trying out all the ESP motors😁😁😁

Im trying to decide if I want to go the head kit or make my zen 32cc to a 34cc with stroker kit
@evolverc18222 жыл бұрын
@@dsb2767 hi mate if you have someone who knows how to shave head to fit a 2mm crank to make it a 34cc then you could do it. Where the ESP headkits are already modified to make it 34cc. Plus there quite cheap for the extra power and work Doug does to them.

What HP will it be once the top end kit is installed?
@evolverc18222 жыл бұрын
Hi great question I've tried looking and can not find any info on HP maybe try emailing ddm they might know but hp would be different depending on what pipe you are using. ✌️
@allthingsmotorized1885 Жыл бұрын
@@evolverc1822 should be around 7 and a half hp i think

That engine is about 6.5 with a pretty good pipe. The lower rod end bearing cage does not like rpm over 17,500 rpm, (Over that, and the lower rod end starts turning blue for the air cooled engine cranks), so I did not port it for real high rpm, (like the G340 marine PUM engine, that does have the smaller G290 bearing at the bottom of the rod, safe to 21,000). So that engine is not a screamer, but it makes the best power from 8,000 rpm (clutch engagement, about 3hp), to about 13,000 rpm, than all the smaller RC engines, and the 320/340 competition. After that a good G290 will start out powering it. Great for bashing, tight tracks, heavy and 4-wheel drive cars. It is hard to get over 7hp out of the RC engines, and if one of the G320-340's do for the air cooled engines, that would be a trick, (that I wold have to see), and would not be as reliable.
