Welcome to Zentangle Project Pack No. 23!
Tangle along with Rick and Molly as they guide you through the 9th lesson in this series.

This year, 2024, will mark twenty years since the first official public Zentangle class was given. In honor of this monumental milestone, we thought it appropriate to spend the whole year celebrating. Project Pack 23 will honor those initial strokes that resulted in the birth of Zentangle. We will look closely at that magical moment when Rick and Maria unexpectedly discovered something they knew they had to pursue.
This project will feel important and ornate and illuminated. It will comfort you with its history and challenge you with its grandeur. You will finish this series with art that speaks of the history of the Zentangle Method but more importantly, displays and honors your work as the artist and creator.

When Rick said, "I'm having a really good time" as he worked on the tipple, I realized I was so relaxed and mesmerized - so totally in the zone, even tho I don't have my PP#23 yet. Such a lovely Zentangle moment!! Really loving this template and can't wait to see where it goes, and what I might do with mine 🙂 Sending happy thoughts your way!

Lovely! When Molly says "I know", it makes me think of Maria because I think Maria uses that as an exclamatory expression.

I enjoyed watching and seeing the beauty grow! I had to gring a bit when Molly got so aggressive with the shading on Poke Root but in the end I think it turned out perfect! Not sure I could do it myself tho'....LOL....maybe, like you said, it's only paper!!! Thanks for sharing!

Love that tipple frame with the gold! This is a great PP. Molly, we had that game too. It was called "Booby-Trap!" 🙂

I thought it was called Ker-Plunk! Plastic cylinder with thin plastic sticks and marbles sat on them. You had to carefully pull out the sticks, but if all the marbles fell, kerplunk!
