I am 80 now, so I understand when your hands don't work like they used too. its limiting for sure. but i still do the best i can. I too have arthritis and have some tendon troubles too boot. This was an absolutely wonderful event. I missed the 10 am start but was able to watch the KZfaq video. It was wonderful for me to see the difference in the way Rick and Marie drew. I found it was easier to do Idoz the way Maria did it than Rick’s way. I finished her’s, but need to go back and finish his version. I want very much to be a CTZ, to share this with others like me with serious medical issues. It is both calming and grounding. I did learn some calligraphy years ago, but my lines are not as precise as I would like them to be. I need to practice more with the tangles, and carve out a time when I can do that. Maria’s variations were absolutely beautiful. Thank you with sharing the celebration with us.💕

Glad to see you all live! What a momentous opportunity to celebrate from where we are and yet together! Rick and Maria… know always that there is a vast branch of the silent ones. We are the unsung Zentangle family branch which simply lives our lives retreating for “Peas&Homimy” and Zen. We are not CZTs and yet have become passionate and believe! I meant to end with: is there any other way to get certified? I’m not asking for a free ride but at all, but maybe a payment plan?

I’ve been doing zentangle for omg like 10 years and it’s my therapy I guess. Anyway, I’ve been wanting to get certified because I want to do a group at the methadone clinic that helped me get clean about 10 years ago because both zentangle and the clinic are not only the reason I’m clean and sober but the reason I’m still on this earth! I have a story, a past ppl would cry hearing but because of zentangle I finally feel like I have hope, I have a future. But I can never afford to go to a seminar. Every year goes by and I feel it’s almost unattainable. I’ll continue to try but I’m on a fixed income and it’s not easy
