Nice footage and editing job. The good thing about a Zeppelin: no shaky images. For me it was quite hard to get relatively steady shots in a small airplane such as a Robin Dr400. Best regards

Since the 1990s Zeppelin Luftschifftechnik, a daughter enterprise of the Zeppelin conglomerate that built the original German Zeppelins, has been developing Zeppelin "New Technology" (NT) airships. These vessels are semi-rigids based partly on internal pressure, partly on a frame. The Airship Ventures company recently re-introduced zeppelin passenger travel to California with one of these Zeppelin NT airships. A blimp you can find under "enkhome blimp"

I have seen these Zeppelins in Germany in Friedrichshafen at Bodensee. First Zeppelins were created there. This is very nice video.

Yeah, its still not a real zeppelin. I get the same or even greater sensation in a spinning flight simulator in comparison to a real flight. The grand zeppelins were just splendid! Like a cruise ship in the sky! Fancy restaraunt, sleeping quarters, you name it! If we had brought the real zeppelin concept back today (just make them less flammable -though most hindenburg passengers survived-) it would be amazing.

Yeah, that's the entire problem! Ever since the Hindenburg disaster, real zeppelins were no more. Now, Zeppelin Luftshifftechnik (you ripped the first part of your comment directly from wikipedia) has only been able to call their "new techology zeppelins" semi-rigids, unlike the real zeppelins from the 20's-40's with fully rigid bodies. The Zepplin NT is like a zeppelin and blimp got married and had a baby. How Luftshifftechnik gets away with calling an airship a zeppelin is just sloppy.

Uhh. . .thats a blimp. Not a zeppelin. BIG DIFFERENCE as in zeppelin is alot BIGGER. You can also tell this is a blimp because the passenger cabin is beneath the baloon, unlike a zeppelin where the passengers are seated within the mainframe. (plus, zeppelins are not even balloons) We need real zeppelins today, not these little toys.

What is you problem??! Do you ever expierienced such (new) airships by yourself. It s al about priciples you talking about, the sensation is the same or even greater with such powerfull motors and new technics. I am glad I was not in the "Original" where such many people died The Zeppelinn is meanwhile further developed and evaluated the same as airplains have, fortunately......
