Why? When he left us so much already? Clothes were his passion, can we leave buildings to the likes of Le Carbusier? Who might have designed in the same vain as the incredible McQueen. Both urban, both romantics and both exceptional! In their own right!

What an incredible, incredible artist and true genius! I have fallen in love with his work, his style and this wild, non-compromising thirst to push boundaries of conventional since I did art at school and then at St. Martin's! I went to see his collections at museums, just couldn't get enough of them. Such a tremendous loss for the world!! It was a huge shock! I would have so loved to see his films if he lived and started making them. Can hardly believe that he took his own life!! He seems so content and at peace with himself and life in this film.. but I guess, you never know. Thank you a tonne for posting this documentary!!! _/\_

It makes me so happy to hear that he is “ happy and at peace “ with himself here.... as an admirer of his work and now his person.. his death is less haunting... and his legacy in design concepts, approach to his aesthetics, calm and commanding leadership, wit and humor will forever be celebrated with the demons put away from all those ... and instead, that it’s his spirit and person be the light you will always see and celebrate... will watch this again and again to lift me

It is incredible to see how relaxed and almost a soothing vibe with this video. He killed himself because of his demons and not having real friends because they were friends with "Alexander" and not "Lee".....To have the death of a parent as close as he was to his mother and how lonely he was mixed with drugs it was tragic that he was so alone. By far a great segment I have seen.of him. A kind man may he rip.

Fashion and money 💰 dance toghether is like the way against true inside us and method to divide people for worse and better. But how to making clothes for everyone maybe "richest" and don't destroy world our us😉🦩.We've seen it many times. Maybe that's art, but 🤔it was rather fight with yourself and some of people. He wanted be in minimalism architecture and that's was a bit against luxury and commercial fashion industry but great real in him.😏 Real sweet dreams melody 😉

Magda Sim depressed people do act like him did u really say that? He killed himself probably from too much life in the past he was heavily sexually and physicLly abused growing up and you see the sexuality and scared look and masochistic look in his shows and clothes. That's absolutely wild Ronda depressed people don't make art like this wow it was probably his only safe outlet for all you know.

No one gives a fuk about clothes or hats when you're dead. If you'd stuck to something like cabbing as your brother did, then OK, you wouldn't have been famous but you wouldn't have been dead either sunshine. So many 'look at me' muppets in the fashion industry, seriously. Your health is more important than the shit you put on your back in the morning, or the shit you put up your nose at night. Aspiring fashionistas out there, get a normal life, a regular job, be healthy and stay alive, that's the true success story.

Alexander Mcqueen was way too talented to be a normal worker, like a cab driver for example! He had one of the most extraordinary minds in the world and that's why he was so famous! And he was definitely not a Muppet! I most certainly agree that health is very important but the world needs people like Alexander McQueen, otherwise the world would be plain boring!
@faafafineartist9 жыл бұрын
Reees Lamontert you would never understand the mind of a genius with your one dimensional understanding of life. People come for a purpose and leave for a purpose. I dont expect you to grasp what i just said, but i thought I'd take a leap of faith that you'd rise out of your mundane robotic coma for a split second. One can only hope.
@ohwellwhateverr8 жыл бұрын
But in a world in which everyone only aspired to be a cab driver, imagine how bland and lifeless it would be without art to sustain creativity and thought. Most people would probably kill themselves.
