Great overview, fully agree! First of all I am a S&B bigot. I have and currently use a S&B 5x25 PMII. Would I give up my PMII for the ZCO, no. If I was buying another scope of this caliber and I was to choose between the ZCO and S&B, hands down no question about it, I would choose the ZCO. I am not knocking S&B its still amazing, but the ZCO is the 'new benchmark' mechanically, optically and user friendly operation for premier scopes. ZCO nailed it. I have two friends that have recently upgraded to ZCO: one with MPCT-1 he is a long range hunter out West US, the other a long range target/sport shooter, he has one of the first MPCT-3 reticles. I wish I had not looked through this optic and played with the mechanics, its mind boggling the quality it seems perfect in every respect, I want one. Though they are new they can hardy make enough to keep up with demand in the US, even with COVID Mile High Shooting can't keep them in stock and have backorders. Next scope, ZCO for sure, no question about it.

Just took one out to range. Zeroed and shot out to 1000yards with no issue. A great scope for sure.

I would make two suggestions for ZC scopes. First is to add a washer or spacer option under the turrets that when present disables the locking turret feature. That way we can choose. The second is to make the locking turret only lock when at zero. I see no reason why someone would want to lock the turret anywhere but zero, especially on the windage turret.

In regards to the the complaints at the end, it has two rings showing in the second turn and a third ring on the turn indicator to show that you are in the third turn of elevation. I am not sure what more you could want from that system. IMHO ZCO is right there with TT and Hensoldt as the top players in the tactical optics game. TT might be ever so slightly better in terms of optical clarity but their reticle options suck and ZCO does 99.5% of everything the other two do and for $1000+ less.

They should come up with something like an 1-8.

Hello from Ukraine buddy, I have a problem, I can only lower the turret down at the zero mark, for example, if my zero is not correct and I make a couple of clicks to correct it. and therefore I try to lower the drum in order to shoot at the grid in the future - I cannot do this. I can only lower the turret down at the zero mark, it is very inconvenient when there is no tool at hand
