I LOVE your kitchen!! One thing I'd suggest since you purchase thrifted items is to (if you don't already) get a lead testing kit because some of the older ceramics may have lead in it. Also, if you're purchasing anything from any Latino markets, you'll DEFINITELY want a lead testing kit as if the clay item doesn't already say lead free or "sin plomo" then there's a real possibility the paint may have lead. From what I also understand, sometimes the inside paint will have lead but then the glaze won't so if it turns out negative for lead and later the ceramic chips, then test it again in that space before deciding to continue using it.

In terms of composting, my suggestion is a freestanding rotating compost bin that you keep outside, and it really doesn’t take up a ton of space. The most important lesson to learn in compost is to look at your scraps and determine if you can reuse them before composting. That might be onion, peels, garlic, and Carrot tops, etc. and before you compost it make vegetable broth of it first and then compost it. Also, if you are someone that eats eggs, you can absolutely wash the shell make sure it is dry completely and then dehydrate it into a powder and spread the powder in your flowerbeds outside.

I just bought a 9lb Sunflower butter organic bucket at my local coop. I got a discount bc I'm a member. I thought afterwards oh I could just buy 5 all natural pb at Walmart for cheaper. But actually I like the taste of the bucket butter better. Better quality and taste. Worth the money. Got it wit food snaps .
