Great Video! I also like to hang a piece of paracord with a weight on it like a plumb bob at a distance and use it to get my crosshairs perfectly up and down and not canted.

If you can get you rifle level, thats a perfect method for getting it mounted level.

Or use a Springfield armory scope with a built in bubble level.

Love your content - especially the stuff that's at the intersection of general machining and gunsmithing. Lots of useful lessons in both directions. Gotta ask, as someone born in Winnipeg - is that accent Minnesota, a Dakota or an Americanised Manitoba?
