I wonder what kind of kick-backs that doctor got over 20 years. ... Probably saw him as one of his meal tickets. Could you imagine if he lost his small intestine? He'd be on full nutrition bags. You know, those bags, cost 20,000 $USD each! Imagine the commission that doctor would be getting from that 'customer'.

I'm 64 and from 59-63 lost 70 lbs on Carnivore and working out. Now, even though I am 'old AF' my body is in better shape by far than when 32. Sure wish I knew then what I know now, but better late than never. Goodbye sore knees, back, joints! Bounce out of bed in the morning with a big smile. If you are on the fence about dumping seed oils, sugars, processed junk foods JUST DO IT. Just had bloodwork and everything, including my kidney eGFR has improved over time. it's too simple without intellectualistic rigor, so most are not interested.
@ianshand6094
@ianshand6094 Ай бұрын
@@alanx4121Unfortunately, it's not that simple, Alan. Those who enter the medical system are indeed smart, intellectual people, as you point out. However, that's not the problem. The problem is what they're taught. Medical students are NOT taught about diet and nutrition in medical school, they're taught (read brainwashed) to believe disease occurs in a particular way, and how to treat the symptoms of that disease with drugs - that's it. The reason doctors are taught this way is because Rockefeller and Carnegie, through their funding of the 1910 Flexner Report, captured the US medical system in the early twentieth century. Rockefeller and Carnegie did this for the sole purpose of selling people drugs for their ailments. Fortunately, many people are now waking up to the fact that doctors, whether specialists or general practitioners, are (typically) nothing more than licenced drug pushers. Furthermore, it is the doctors themselves that are the cause (through their dangerous advice and drugs) of ongoing bad health outcomes for their patients.

I am going back to my ribeye daily and water to see if I can turn this around. Greg, I am so thankful that you shared your story, and there is no doubt you brought most of us to tears. My 20 year story is just about IDENTICAL. There are only a few differences which i will share for anyone else who needs support. My story began with ulcerative colitis; a pretty severe and rapid case. My first doctor tried to put me on drugs that said they could cause blood cancer. I said no thank you, and he informed me that it didn't matter what I ate.... I never saw him again. The differences were UC instead of chrohns; same ileostomy, same blockages and so many trips to the ER/hospital, tube down the nose, drugs to clear the blockage, etc. One by one eliminating or reducing to less than a tablespoon at a time of foods I would be willing to eat for fear of another blockage. Too many trips to the hospital to count. I had learned not to eat most vegetables, had cut out gluten (mostly). I could eat lettuce, tomatoes and radishes at that time. I avoided trips to the hospital by this way of eating and by avoiding social eating since I didn't pay close enough attention to how much I was eating. And only self medicating by drinking a shot of bourbon or whiskey, which I hate, to avoid blockage by relaxing and not stressing out. I still only had to do that every couple of months. I went eight years without a trip to a hospital and then two things set me on the path to carnivore. #1 - In spite of having my large intestines and colon removed I discovered I still had active UC because I ended up with pyoderma gangrenosum (PG). It is as debilitating and gross as the name sounds, and very difficult to find information on the internet. If it happens, it is supposed to happen within the first year to year and a half of getting an ileostomy. Mine appeared 14 years after my ileostomy stoma. This is getting too long... #2 Due to all the stress I was under, and the TWO cases of PG i had over 2 1/2 years and heavy doses of Prednisone (steroids), I ended up in the ER and hospital with another blockage that I could not clear. Only my faith, hope, and trust in God got me through all of this. By the time I was tapering off of the Prednisone, I was probably doing a lot of searching for how to rid the body of all prednisone. I must have encountered carnivore at that time. Praise God! The rest of the story is not important, but I still struggle with staying 100% carnivore. I frequently try to clear a few food addictions I have, and I AM, unfortunately, doing carnivore alone. I also care for my mother two weeks a month who has dementia, traumatic brain injury, and strokes. I know the carnivore would help tremendously, but I am fighting such a battle for myself, not to mention caregivers, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, etc., who all believe in the standard American diet. There's a reason why it's called SAD! I apologize for the length of this and welcome any questions about my journey. I am an open book, wanting to help others find their way; especially anyone who has an ileostomy or may have a problem with skin issues from that. please let me know in a reply to this comment and I will send you my email.

So wonderful that he has stopped chrons. Would be nice if his doctors would consider carnivore as an option before resorting to draconian meds and butchering surgery. But where is the $$ in that?

In a crazy world full of hate, these stories always lift me up. True healing and self actualization is the best part of carnivore: Learning to save yourself, Saying no to the food dogma around you and carving your own path in a semi hostile world is a shared carnivore story. We break down the wall one brick at a time. My heart aches for this man. Did Crohns, IBS, SIBO, colitis even exist a 100 years ago? Thats a short list of bowel diseases.

I watch a lot of your interviews. Honestly, is there anything carnivore can’t cure? The variety of ailments is so broad. Thanks for your work and to all those who share.

Stories like yours are so important to get the word out there, because your medical advisors are never going to admit a meat only diet has this incredible result. Thank you for adding your voice to the growing groundswell of insight into the many benefits of this proper human diet.

I've been so much healthier since avoiding my doctor, been carnivore for close to 12 years. I used to spend most of my life sat in the bathroom due to chronic IBS, the doctor kept telling me to eat more fiber which had catastrophic results. I went on like that for many years until a friend called to visit and noticed that I had gained loads of weight and he told me about low carb, so I gave it a go and i lost about 20 lbs very quickly, then my research journey introduced me to Dr Berry and I followed along with him for quite a few years now And I've lost over 100 lbs in weight and 10 inches off my waistline and only have IBS flare ups about once a month whereas it used to be a 24/t issue!

Stunned by the dietitian’s ignorance of the carnivore diet. It’s like a car mechanic never having heard of a Ferrari. You’re not necessarily expecting them to have worked on one, but not to know that they exist and that many people swear that they’re the ultimate automobile… boggling.

Wow. Fantastic results. Hope you are able to expand your carnivore diet and still heal. Raw liver has helped me a lot. Iodine and magnesium has also helped my gut heal. Great story. Wishing you health and happiness.

Tell him the good lil goats and cattle, are taking the plants vitamins and borrow their immune systems. And you are borrowing them in turn through eating them. So he still gets to keep his plants benefits.

This is amazing to hear, Greg! It takes a lot of courage to make a change in the face of serious health issues and resistance from your doctor. As more of us speak up, it will be harder for the medical/health community to deny the positive results.
