I listen to this great music every day now, since I 'discovered' it a week ago. Beautiful and has a lot of talent to offer. I didn't know that gimnazija Kranj had so much of great music. This is treat for all of us who like music.

I am duly impressed and thoroughly amazed, with "Maestro Nejc Bečan" with his skill as a conductor, musician and teacher. I watched and enjoyed his and these young people's rendition of "The Carmen Suite by Jorge Bizet" and thoroughly enjoyed it. Then, I found and watched this one, with the same unfettered joy. I cannot stress enough, the skill it takes to coordinate so many different people to play musical instruments in sync. It's even more challenging to have them play in sync and in tune, so that they sound like a single entity and body of music, Bravo Maestro Nejc Bečan, Bravo! I'm now sorting through all the different videos of this remarkable group of young, talented and beautiful musicians so that I can enjoy them fully. Spas-ciba, Danke, thank you, thank you, thank you, for this beautiful treasure of music.

Sem rad poslušal Čajkovskega že iz mladih let. Ta valček, Cvetlični valček, mi je prav posebej všeč. Me veseli, da je toliko mladih ljubiteljev muzike, ki igrajo v tem simfoničnem orkestru. Čestitam vsem, ki nam omogočajo biti na koncertu, čeprav doma pred računalnikom.

@@millerforester6237 The clarinet player, Nadja Drakslar, happens to be almost blind (less than 10% vision). She moves so she can read the score and watch the conductor, sometimes she has difficulty and it shows in her face. She is a fine musician.

This is marred only by the acoustic issue with the one french horn. Still the best version I was able to find here.

I think you're hearing the saxophones doubling french horn parts. It startled me too.

They wanted everybody to be able to play including saxophones, so French horn was sacrificed for saxophones. I hope composer wouldn’t mind.

Belle interprétation même si j’aurais aimé un peu plus d’ampleur et de rubato dans le mouvement de la valse.Je pense que à écouter en direct dans la salle j’aurais évité un enregistrement pas toujours équilibré au mixage;Mais c’est cependant un bon moment de bonheur

This is orchestra of one high school in Slovenia. Sometimes their ex students are called in to help. But only few of them are professional musicians (the least possible). Average age is from 15 to 18. They have to make it with the instruments and performers they actually have in orchestra.
