I spent a little time with the loaner (tour) pickguard loaded with Scott's Signature Set pickups. It is intended to replicate the sounds of an HSH Strat with 3 single coil sized pickups. The neck pickup is the Throaty Bucker, the middle is the Fat Single, and the bridge is the Juicy Bucker.
This pickguard is wired with push-push pots on the master volume & master tone pots to give you the "Silent Split" option for the neck & bridge pickups. This puts the 2 pickup segments in parallel, rather than the normal series configuration.

Played through a Fractal Axe-FX II with firmware 8.01a using the '65 Bassman amp model. Recorded with Audacity via analog outs to analog ins of a laptop. The guitar is a '94 Strat Plus Deluxe.

Steve, sounds great! Clean demos really give people an idea of how the pickups sound "raw". I just want to point out that I typically set mine up a little higher than that, and that's what we generally recommend. YMMV as always of course, but anyone watching might want to keep that in mind and not be afraid to do some height adjustment to get things dialed in the way they like. Strat-itis (dampening of the note due to high string pull) is not an issue with Zexcoils so you can set them high.

I've enjoyed your sound demo here, great job. And for the 2 ass wipes that are your typical "I can do anything better than you can" do yourself a favor and stick your head in the toilet and leave it there. This obviously isn't a demo showcasing any guitar skill, and if you know what your listening for hearing the raw clean sound of these pickups with individual strings and chords will tell you how they will perform with overdrive and distortion. Anyway, I just get so f-Ing sick of trolls. I'm getting mine installed in a deluxe strat next week. Thanks again for the good sound demo.

Why do so many weak guitarists try to do product demos? They're not doing themselves or the product any good and they are embarrassing to endure. Just stop.
