Hey Man, I just subscribed few days ago... my 2015 200 transmission was just replaced, I have the lifetime warranty so I just toke it to my dealer because a front bearing noise, I also mention that the transmission was shifting poorly, so they came out and said: no problem Chrysler authorized to replace the transmission, so to make the long story short NOW with the new transmission when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd (ONLY) it feels like the RPM´s drop really bad, even you can feel your body moving a little forward due to the deceleration! ----- I have not gone again to the dealer to talk about this Do you think the transmission needs some time to " understand my driving habits " ? or it needs to be " flashed " ? or Im going to have to fight for another transmission? all the shifting is very smooth, ONLY 2nd to 3rd is REALLY BAD! :( Thanks!

My 2019 Cherokee TH - shifts to neutral randomly at different speeds. Once the vehicle coast to 10-15mph the transmission will regain traction. The Transmission has the most current updated software. The issue happens more often during cold weather 30 degrees and below. Still under warranty.

Great vids man. I have a 14 Cherokee with a 3.2 .v6 . My transmission is fine but it skips 2nd gear on downshift. I guess one of the tcm flashes did this, why was it done? Also I have a light scraping/rubbing noise at idle. Any ideas? Had the belt tensioner replaced and if still does. Almost sounds sounds like the crankshaft pulley. 70000 miles and it seems like the pulley wobbles slightly when it’s idling

Got a 2015 Cherokee with 9 spd. Been to the dealership 6 times with erratic shift problems. No fix! If I had known it had a newly designed sealed for life transmission with all the problems they have had, I would have never bought this new Jeep!! I have decided against purchasing a new Jeep pickup just because of the problems we have had!

Just a question on the Cherokee ZF 948TE. The engine is off when you’re checking the level with the 140mm stick, correct? And then you are going by the transmission temperature gauge and the chart to figure out what mark on the stick?

All these new 8,9 and ten speed automatic transmissions are just an expensive gimmick. Fact most people live and drive where most traffic is low speed stop and go commuting. Because of this all these extra gears have zero value unless your driving habits are like a long haul trucker out on the freeways running at a steady speed. This is why there are so many complaints from new car owners about their automatic transmissions " gear hunting " as the transmission does not kick down when needed for passing or climbing long hills as manufactures programmed the cars electronic transmission to stay in a higher gear for better fuel economy yet it does the opposite as car engines lug do to a lack of lower gears when needed.

I have the 9spd transmission in my Jeep Cherokee and it is a bucket of shit. Great interior, powerful engine, great sound system, woeful transmission. Such a shame.

Chrysler needs to stop with the bs that earlier model 9 speed transmissions have more problems than software they have quietly redesigns certain parts of that transmission the current ones don't have the same problem
