Hey! Sorry I just saw this! I didn't see a white dragon elevator lol sounds cool though! I stayed at a cute family boutique hotel. You can see it in the Quarantine video, and yes I've been to almost all of China's provinces!

I hope you have a great time! I’m not sure what the best way to get a SIM card is for tourists. I was living in China when I visited so I had a regular phone/internet plan.

Such a helpful video! I am going to Zhangjiajie next month and your video has clarified a lot of questions I had. Just wanting to check do I need to book anything for the park in advance? Can I get a Bailong 7:30am ticket the morning of?

Yep! I didn’t pre-book anything. As long as it’s not a public holiday, you should be good.

Thanks for the video. I'm planning to go there next month so your video is super helpful. Quick question, where should I stay during the 4 days there? Should I stay at the town where the train station is, or somewhere closer?

Depends on where you want to spend most of your time. I stayed downtown for one night to go to Tianmen for the night show then back in the daytime to explore. The rest of the week I stayed near the park. It makes more sense to stay in the mountains if you’re going to the park multiple days in a row. It’s like a 45 minute drive from downtown.

Hi! Since I was alone it was easier just to go to places without a guide. Zhangjiajie is very foreign-friendly and easy to navigate by Didi. Hotels in the area can also help you plan a tour or recommend a good guide if you'd rather have one.

You need at least 2 and you still will miss a lot. If you only have one day it’s not really worth it unless you choose one part you want to see most.

Im going to china in 2 months and want to go here but finding it soooo hard to find an affordable journey there that doesnt take a whole day of traveling

When I went I couldn’t find any flights so I took a 7 hour train from Chongqing. I booked a hotel downtown for 1 night near the train station. I was able to drop my bags off and make it to the night show at Tianamen mountain which was awesome! The next day I went tianamen in the morning, then checked out and moved to a hotel near the national park. Try to do something like that so you won’t feel like you wasted a whole day just traveling. 💚

7:57 I love complimenting strangers. I just think it's fun, but I haven't been able to in China bc language. The two times I have the people have had the same reaction as this guy lolol just blank stares. I think it's just not a thing here to be like "nice dress!" but imma keep trying
