The colbor CL50R its a plug in light but can be adapted to run on batteries and Zhiyun its a battery operated light but can be plugged in . If you want to use Bowens light modifiers than the Colbor its a better option because with Zhiyun you can not use other modifiers even with the adaptor because the light its too small and the battery its in the way so you stuck with a couple of softboxes from same manufacturer . I like Colbor lights but because they dont have built in batteries when you use battery side adaptors it increases the size and weight. If portability its not your concern than the colbor its better . If you need portability than Zhiyun

The ZHIYUN Mini Dome Softbox Diffuser, Video Light Dome Diffuser for G60 /X100 /X60 /CX100 Light with ZY Mount on Amazon is the one who fit the lights , its small but works pretty good fir different situation and shoot through umbrellas . I tried the Zhyiun to Bowers mount but it didn’t fit with the battery on , if you use the plug in and remove the battery will work and you can fit any Bowens modifier. The light can be plugged in via usb-c with or without battery and i use it wired if u have the chance

@@tonyroscaphotography Ok, I got the mini softbox. For umbrellas, what about a black/silver umbrella where you can adjust the distance to the umbrella to create different beams of light? Can you explain a bit about the Bowens mount not fitting with the battery? The battery is on the side, while the bowens mount is on the front, so it should work?

@@kennethcheong4498 the bowens mount is not for the 60 w and because the opening of the Bowens mount is wider than the light i think is the problem . Also the connector has the mount reset inside and you have to push the light flash with the disc to engage . I just tried again and i could not make it engaged to stay on . And the adaptor is made out of flimsy plastic . The bounce umbrella will work too if you want diffused light , i think you loose some power but pushing in or out will give you a mini para. I like to experiment with different lighting set ups because you can have nice surprises .
