It is holographic - In China, the budget for these shows are pretty big and it is not an uncommon thing at big shows and concerts. Zhou Shen has an amazingly ethereal voice, you should check out his performances of "Memory", "Hawthorne Tree" on Super Vocal 2018, most of his performances on Our Song 2019 and "Big Fish" on Singer 2020. we all called zhou shen as a walking CD. his voice so clear, purity, crisp and a guy with a very good personality, I had never listen to some one sings like that. I had been following him every day.

Hello Matt, thank you for reacting to Zhou Shen. You can call him By his English name Charlie if you want. His nick name is Shen Shen, walking CD Player, Siren, Zhou Shen Poison (incurable) and song killer. The last 2 nickname always cracked me up 😂 Charlie’ voice didn’t changed during his puberty in teens. When he was younger his voice higher pitched than normal. His voice went deeper as he grew older. After he graduated fro Ukraine. He studied a little in Chinese opera and voice acting. He usually mixed Bel Canto with modern pop or rocks. The first song is Please believe in a Dream, from the movie Jiang ZiYa. About a top commander got an order to banish a Demon Nine tail Fox that threatened human kind. Later he found out that demon fox was actually innocent little fox girl. Decided to go against his orders and do what is right. The commander got the blunt while protecting the little demon. He got sucked into the portal that was meant for the little fox girl. In the last line of the song is ‘When you see man from afar, you’ll learn to love the world again.’ I guessed Charlie means to say over time pass as pain lessen, we will learn to love and trust again.

Yup! When you discover Zhou Shen, you discover a great treasure in China! He's talented in both singing & languages. He's cultured belcanto in Lviv National Musical Academy in Ukraine & wants to combine classical and pop music. Besides his natural angelic voice, professional skills, multi language, he's very keen in putting emotion delivery in his songs. He's so serious about his music while he is a very humble, thoughtful and funny guy. He's been paying very great efforts in pursuing his passion in singing. 'This is me' & 'Memory' are his famous covers for they are somehow reflects his past experience. The effect was actual VR effect which can be seen through our monitor. The crowd are not able to watch it in live. I would like to recommend Zhou Shen's "Time to Say Goodbye", "Memory", "Dalabengba" & "The Lonely Goatherd" for your initial reaction. He is a talented and great vocalist who able to performs in many genres and languages.

Yes u r absolutely right! ZS is worthy of this big fancy stage. This was performed celebrating New Year’s Eve. He was invited by 3 or 4 different station programs where he sang 2 songs each. All were so phenomenal!!!

Highly Highly recommended. 'Only for love' just performed on 25th of May. The song was accompanied with an orchestra as well. He sang like a part of the instruments in the orchestra. Very healing.

Tqvm for reacting to my idol's songs👍👍👍...Zhou Shen wasn't in his best form when he sang This Is Me as he was made to wait til 2-3am when this song was recorded. He received a standing ovasion fr the whole orchestra when he rehearsed earlier the same day... So u may wan2 check out his other songs, such as Dalabengba & Baby dasbitannia fr The Singer 2020 show... Also his cover of 'Song of the Paradise Island' , I personally lov his original Mandarin songs like Hua Juan & movie ost Cliff Walkers. Rubia & Sanctuary are two of his English songs tat I revered 😍

This is a pretty standard song from Zhou Shen. HuanYan on The China Voice gave him his first big exposure. Listening to his opera-like performances is a great intro to Zhou Shen (Memory) (Time to Say Goodbye). His diversity and language skills comes by hearing him sing songs like (Ring the Doorbell), (Da La Beng Ba), (Let it Go), and (Monsters). His most famous song is (Big Fish).

Zhou Shen's voice is sweet. He can sings more than 10 different languages. He likes to add Bel Canto or Opera (sometimes Chinese Opera) in Pop songs. Bel Canto: "Think of me","memory" , "Time to say goodbye" and " Baby до свидания".Romantic:"Eyes on me"and "Sanctuary". Diablo songs, such as "Unravel" @ "The Song of Heaven Island" @.

That is why he said "This is Me" means so much to him - listen to the lyrics, and imagine a bullied person stand up and use his "weakness" into his success. He had classical training and graduated in the musical with honour.

Here is a little background into Zhou Shen and why songs like This is Me and Monsters is important to him. Zhou is short in stature. Always has been. His voice has always had a high, feminine sound too. As a result, throughout school, he was ridiculed and bullied. Asians have something called "face" and it is rated very high in their cultures. Losing face is one of the worst things for them to experience. Anyway, Zhou realized that he could never become a "pop star" because of these things and others. After high school, he went to the Ukraine to study to become a dentist. While there, he found people who supported him, enjoying his high vocals, and singing abilities. After his first year in dentistry school, he was encouraged to change schools and majors, studying music. After university, the producers of China Voice discovered him. They asked him multiple times to tryout on the show, but he was very shy and humble, not valuing his abilities. He finally said yes, and his opening song, HuanYan, not only blew away the judges, it shot him into fame with Chinese audiences. Since that time, he has demonstrated his language skills, diversity in genres, and has become very successful working in animation voice overs, and the video game development industry singing opening songs. I hope this helps in your appreciation to Zhou Shen. As you discover his long resume of music, that appreciation grows. My personal favs from him are "Ring the Doorbell", a haunting cabaret styled song, and Ba La Beng Ba fashioned after different characters of a video game where the prince battles a dragon, finds acceptance from the king to marry the princess.

I’ve been watching a lot of Chinese productions last 4 years and they go all out and always use full orchestra. Lighting and stage presence is always unbelievable!!! Greetings from Texas USA 🇺🇸 and yes watch “Big Fish”!!! These two songs don’t even near showcase his voice!! He goes by Charlie.

There is a few songs from Zhou Shen that I would like to suggest: 1. 达拉崩吧 ‘dalabengba' （This song makes Zhou Shen become famous. In this song you will be able to see Zhou Shen used at least 5 different voices to portrayed few characters, including the narrator, the little girl, the young man, the king and the dragon. To tell you a bit of his background. He got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because that, he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now. He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to studied Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is very good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song. His music has so many different genres. If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people,'s, souls. Zhou Shen's music is one of them that can heal your souls. A lot of Dimash's fans also recommend Zhou Shen to those reactors who reacted to Dimash to react. Some people compare to both of them and I think they both are great performers but with different styles. Nothing to compare to. Thank you for reacting to Zhou Shen's performance.

I love his performance, he never let me down, you should check out when he sang on the big stage for the first time, he was found in Voice of China in 2014 if I am not mistaken, he didn't win, but he got so many attention and start to attend few shows, he was humble and kind and lovely... so likeable... kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eZOoZM9n0te4p4k.html Other recommendation are Memories, Think of Me, Big Fish (in Mandarin, but beautiful song, you will like the melody), so many songs you can pick up from him... do the reaction and love to have the world know about him.

"Big Fish" was Zhou Shen big break but even then not many people can put a face to the singer yet.

Thank you for your reaction! I really like the way you put some professional stuff in the video as well.👍 As far as I know, Zhou Shen is a countertenor and I think his voice is kind of innocent and almost sounds angelic. Love his voice and techniques.

I saw a lot of fans introduce some of the pop songs of Zhou Shen, and I would like to ask you to react "Huang Cheng Du 荒城渡" of Zhou Shen. That is one of the characters theme song of CHEN QING LING 陳情令. That is so wonderful when Zhou Shen sang those high notes and his emotion put into the music. Please check it out.

The more you explorer from him, the more you will think he is out of this world. His voice is so unique and natural with techniques. His versatility is unreachable by any person in this world. God took away Michael Jackson and double pay us with Zhou Shen. His achievement will be at least the same as Michael's.

I recommend you to enjoy it. The first time he appeared on the screen was when he participated in the "Voice of China" competition! The name of the song sung is "(歡顏) Happy Face", i’m not sure this song the English name is right or not? and the other song was sung with another person during the competition. The name of the song is "(貝爾加湖畔) Lake Baikal"! Worth your appreciation! The famous work that is really known to the masses is a set of Chinese original animation theme song "(大魚)Big Fish"
