Here in part 2 of the turbo LS3 build, we'll continue on from last video with putting the engine back together. Going to assemble it into a long block in this video!

Nice build videos. If you are boosting it and it’s already apart why didn’t you gap the rings? I’m running 12# of boost on my stock 6.2 and wondering how much I can push it.

Thank you, we’re only planning to do 5-7 pounds of boost so that’s why we didn’t gap the rings. A lot of factors play into how far you can push it.

Oh look another LS build. Yawn!!!!!!!!. Next week we put a Cummins 12 valve in a Vega and roll coal.

All the yawning in the world can’t beat the reliability and drivability of an LS.

Title says turbo build but didnt even check ring gap .. bet ya didnt stay at that 5 to 7 #. I run 10# daily on a 6.0 without checking ring gap but its never been opened . Your pistons were out no reason not to check them . My 6.2 on engine stand i did ring gap as its going under pressure My 8.1 on the other stand i ring gapped too since yea its going under pressure as well.
